My partner, dad and I all stayed for 1 evening - in two different rooms after attending a show in South Shields. The stay was wonderful, and none of us (even my fussy dad!) could fault it. The owners were lovely from the go get - friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely with cute... More

Great stay, we only booked a few days before going. Pleasantly surprised, great hosts, we were in the family room which was nice. My daughter loved the big bunk beds. Some nice little extras in the room. Good breakfast. Good price for what we got. Thanks again.

Decent guesthouse, very welcoming and good breakfast. The guest house manager welcomed us at the door and showed us to our room. He was very accommodating on both check in time and breakfast. Very good location! Set at the Lawe Top. Within 5 minutes of the beach and centre of town. Similar value to others around.

Attended Kingsmere Guest House as a family for a wedding which was being filmed for television & were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome & five-star quality stay in this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated, and felt like home away from home. The home-cooked breakfast was among the best I have ever had - beautiful fluffy... More

We were very welcomed at the Kingmere. The family room we stayed in was at the top, comfortable and very nicely decorated with it's own bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and there was a great choice not just your normal full cooked. Everywhere was clean and linens fresh. Some nice little extra touches made it a little special. Hosts are very...
