Great location and great price! Will definitely be back. Chalets are a little small but plenty good enough, clean and tidy with everything you would need. I could not get over how close to the beach we were ( the beach was the cleanest i have ever been on in this country) Will definitely be back.

I booked this 7 night break for my parents and there grandchildren as not to far to travel. The disabled chalet was booked for my dads needs which was really spacious and had everything they needed for that week. The chalet was lovely and clean, lots to do near by (fair ground, crazy golf, peddle boats, beach, flat long beach...

We used to stay in these chalets every year when the children were younger and, now they're older we decided to return for a weekend. I'm so glad we did! The chalets are fabulous - the location is second to none (directly onto the beach) they are bigger than they first appear and so clean and well equipped. I would...

so close to the beach it was just great. Little communal garden at the front for BBQs or kids playing games. The beach its self is huge and lovely. The huts have electric showers and ours had a double bedroom and a twin room. The bedrooms are very small but they serve the purpose. little kitchen for cooking and TV...

I wasn't really sure what to expect from these beach chalets, not having seen them in person before. There are 12 small beach chalets ranged along the beach at South Sheilds- quite plain to look at. However inside they are lovely- small & dinky but we could fit in a family of 4. They are brightly decorated inside, with very...

The chalet was not very clean at all. Smelt of damp and one of the bedrooms smelt of urine!!! The shower head was filthy less than 50% of the holes were letting water through, it was thick with black mould. The toilet also kept backing up adding a dirty drain smell to the other various smells.

We have just returned from the Sandhaven Beach Chalets for the 4th year on the run. We use them when we come up for the Bupa Great North Run weekend, and they are fabulous. They are compact, but very clean and with everything you need. Christine, the manager, is very friendly and helpful and we have no hesitation in recommending...

Started staying at Sandhaven when my Grandchildren arrived (my family in Shields can't accomodate us all). Slightly apprehensive because we were bringing a 6mth old baby in Feb., needn't have worried the chalets were so warm I want to know how they are insulated. Down to 3 youngest Grandchildren now but it is the highlight of their holidays, everything they...

Love these chalets. Perfect for the beach, safe for the kids and just a short walk from everything. Have stayed here numerous times and would definitely recommend them!! Have already rebooked for next year!!

The chalets are in a great location and very clean. However, they are made of a sort of prefabricated plastic material, are heated by plug in heaters and very small - ours measured about 20 feet by 15 feet in total. We found it cramped and found the bedrooms and beds (we had 2 bedrooms (one about 8' x 7'...
