We held our daughter & son in laws marriage ceremony & wedding Breakfast at the Little Haven .It was an absolutely brilliant day. The wedding co-ordinator Jan Ovington ran it like a well oiled machine The weather was freezing & we had snow,she thought of everything for the comfort of the guests allowing them into the function room early so everyone would be more comfortable. All of the staff from front of house to the actual function were very pleasant and could not do enough for you. The whole day was well organised by Jan & went smoothly. The next day the conservatory was busy for breakfasts but again food was plentiful & delicious,& the staff were attentive . We would without any hesitation definitely recommend this venue for weddings it was absolutely brilliant Thanks to all the hard work of all the staff…

Always a pleasurable stay. We’ve stayed roughly half a dozen times and have never been disappointed.
From the moment you walk through the door, you’re treated to a wonderful friendly greeting from the receptionists, who book you in quickly and efficiently. The rooms are wonderful and the cleanliness second to none. Beds and pillows so comfortable.

Called in for a coffee and cake after a walk along sea front. Place looks like a run down nursing home ! Service was abysmal. Ordered and paid and gave table no. Waited over 30 minutes and had to ask several members of staff what was the hold up. No body came back to table to advise. Partner eventually asked for them to be put in take out cups as we were mindful our car parking was running out. If this is what service is like for a drink I hate to think what it must be like waiting for food.

My wife, three adult daughters and I, stayed here whilst we attended wedding celebrations, also in the hotel. The hotel is beautifully situated, comfortable and reasonably priced. The best thing about our stay was the service. The staff were friendly, welcoming and worked really hard during the celebrations. They really made our stay.

Great place to stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Good size bedroom and bathroom with plenty of towels and all spotlessly clean. Lovely view, and I imagine it would be very nice to sit outside in the summer. Breakfast was excellent, and again the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Outstanding little bed and breakfast absolutely beautiful a immaculately clean staff, wonderful the rooms have everything you need the breakfast was gorgeous. The service was outstanding. There were so attentive I felt so so safe and secure as a single woman travelling alone.

Excellent receptionists, always a warm welcome, bedrooms excellent,very quiet ,dog friendly. Great location for walking my dog, beach yards away. Gluten free options available. The breakfast is excellent,staff so friendly. Looking forward to our next stay already.

Just. Returned from a trip to South Shields staying at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were a party of four couples who all agreed this hotel was very good We are returning there next year and will gladly stay again.

We had our wedding here in August and it was truly the most wonderful day, thanks to all of the incredible staff. Jan and her team went above and beyond to make our day extra special. We had visited a few times leading up to the wedding and ate in the restaurant which is lovely. The staff are all great and we cannot fault them at all. All of our guests said the venue was superb and the rooms were faultless. Really cannot thank you all enough. We will be back soon xx

Staff brilliant,restraunt fantastic fine dining at budget prices we had 3 courses for 17.95,rooms standard but very clean TV ABIT on the small side for my 95yr old dad to see it,would we come back again most definitely,my friend celebrated her 60th the staff even come out and sang to her, nothing was to much trouble
