Great staff and very quiet. Excellent customer service and will be back. Staff are so helpful and go above and beyond. Breakfast was all you could eat with a decent array of things to have. I hVe stayed here a few times and look forward to going back.

We have stayed in several Premier Inns and many similar businesses but this one, Newcastle Washington will take some beating. It is located on Emerson Road just off the A1(M) junction 34 very handy for visiting the Angel of the North, Beamish Museum and Newcastle to name but a few. The accommodation side is a separate business to the carvery across the car park. From our initial contact on walking into the premise we felt valued and were welcomed each time we came and went. We stayed Thursday 15th February 2024 until Monday 19th February 2024. Our room was ready upon arrival and was spotless. Everything that is needed is provided but should you want anything else or say more coffee or tea then one only has to ask. Nothing is too much trouble. Each room has the famously comfortable Premier Inn bed; large flat screen tv; tea and coffee making facilities and full en-suite bathroom with fresh towels, soaps and hairdryer. We were on the third floor which was accessible to all by a lift and staircase. Rooms are cleaned daily but you may reduce the frequency if it suits you. We opted for the top quality daily breakfast in the restaurant on the ground floor located next to reception. There was an ample selection consisting of pastries, toast, cereals and an array of soft drinks including coffee and a variety of teas. You can choose a full continental or full English or if you want you can have both! You can have as much as you like and it is freshly cooked to order by Les and personal service to your table by Sharon, David or Jack (Les also serves as well as cooking!). Check in is 3pm and checking out is a comfortable 12 noon. We are really sad to be leaving but we most definitely will be returning later this year and time and time again! This business benefits from a superb teamwork ethos and each and every member goes out of their way to look after you! Well done Washington!…

The hotel was only 15 minutes from Beamish. Handy location just off the A1M. The hotel staff were excellent, nothing was to much trouble. The cooked breakfast was delicious and hot. Excellent weekend would stop there again

All staff were excellent and a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was superb, hot, cooked to order and very tasty. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The hotel was spotlessly clean.

Great location. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. In need of an update as rooms bit old fashioned and draughty with ill fitting doors. Nice power shower but unfortunately dated and chipped shower trays with nowhere to put shower gel, shampoo etc when using it. Heating set very low on arrival and seemed to go off altogether early morning which wasn't great when temperature was around 2 degrees outside on getting up!

We stayed one night and the room was as we expected but difficult to regulate the temperature. We had ordered a twin room but received a room with a double bed and a small single bed, which was less comfortable.

The staff were extremely friendly and professional. I stay here frequently and every visit is wonderful. Premier Inn employ lovely people, who are always generous with their help. I will always choose to stay at a Premier Inn rather than anywhere else.
