Detailed Reviews
Wootton Park is one of those places you wish you'd known about sooner. The staff have taken great care is preserving the sight and keeping the facilities looking top-dollar.
The location of the sight is ideal for friends and families to meet up who live across the UK (Birmingham is the epicentre of the Universervse, afterall).
The pods were all very well mainted to a high standard with plenty of room to get changed, unpack and make a cup of tea in with the kettles provided in.
I hope to make another visit in the future.
100% recommend.

Booked and mega pod for my husband 40th. We arrived and shown to our pod where they had added banners for my husband which was a lovey touch. We stayed mid week so not busy practically had the place to ourselves was very peaceful with views of the country side. The pods themselves are equipped with everything you would need for a short break. We made full use of the hot tub which was a great and easy to use. We did go into the village and eat at the Butchers Social would definitely recommend lovely food and the best chicken wings. Would definitely recommend this to others.

Arrived on a Sunday evening was greeted by the owner and are young lady. Was shown to our pod straight away, was a lovely pod really private! Over looking fields and horses. Very clean inside with welcome basket, everything was there that we needed and nothing was to much trouble, one lovely lady even came and removed a very very large spider from our bathroom! Staff was able to give us information about the surrounding areas and best places to eat, we even had a surprise visit from Rocky the dog who came to say hello on Monday while I was in the jacuzzi, Rocky was very friendly and ran back when he heard his whistle.
Overall had an amazing relaxing few days and we will definitely be returning !! Thank you to all staff :D

We have just returned home from a couple nights in the 'Over the Moon' tree pod at Wooton Park.
Overall, it was pretty decent, however there were a few things that stuck out to my attention.
When we arrived, i noticed that the cleanliness could have been a little better. There was still hair and dirt on the floor from previous visitors, which i noticed straight away, and the coffee mugs were quite dusty. There was also a used washing up sponge still in the sink. I would have thought a new one would be supplied, so guests are not using the same sponge? Maybe something to think about :)
The hot tub was great! Unfortunately we didn't get chance to use the barbecue as the weather/wind was so terrible, which is a shame!
There was one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, but no spares in the cabinet. I think for the price of the stay, little things like that could definitely be provided.
The checkout procedure was a little strange. It says on the information leaflet , to "message us" when checking out, but no mobile number is provided?
I did try and ring the landline number to let them know, but had no answer, so we just had to leave without notifying.
Overall, it was very cute, and it was a nice little get away for a couple of days. I think the price is quite expensive, but wanted to give a honest review!
Thanks,
Nicole.

This is a fun experience if you're looking for something a bit different. The hot tub is great, and there's lots of lovely spots nearby (Henley Vintage store, Yew Tree Farm Village, Alpaca Experience). However, for the price (approx £200 a night off-peak) I would have expected things to have been a little bit more special e.g. fresh milk rather than sachets, nicer quality bedsheets, some breakfast provisions etc.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback - it’s always much appreciated. Since re-opening in July we have had to make some Health and Safety changes including not leaving any food provisions in our pods. We used to include a Welcome Basket with mini bottle of Prosecco, chocolates, freshly laid eggs, slippers etc and there were more furnishings, cushions too. Our current offering is a little more minimalist than we would like! However your review has encouraged a discussion with the team and we will be re-introducing the Welcome baskets. Thank you again.

Me and my friends stayed at Wootton Park Glamping pods this past weekend and we was very disappointed to have been treated very poorly by the staff and owners of the park. We had booked through the go Glamping website and had enquired about a booking for 4 adults, to which Wootton Park responded telling us they had a mega pod available. When we arrived we were constantly approached by the owners, who were not following social distancing, and was told that 2 of us had to leave as The pod only sleeps 2 even though they accepted our booking of 4 adults. 2 of us left and came back the next morning as it was our friends birthday and the owner approached the pod while we were getting changed and told us we had to leave by 11 o’clock even though we had book until the following day and she refused to give us a refund. The owner threw a wheelbarrow towards us for us to carry our things in, which we then couldn’t use as she didn’t have any gloves on.
The owners dog was wondering around our pod and coming up onto the decking when one of my friends had an allergy to dogs.
There was limited space inside the pod and nowhere to store bags.
There was bugs found in the milk cartons when making a cup on tea.
I wouldn’t recommend staying at Wootton Park as the staff are very rude and patronising towards guests and refused to give a refund back to us for their own booking mistake.

Thank you for your review and realise that your expectations of a glamping stay at Wootton Park were not met. This was the first time in 9 years of running our glamping business that we have asked guests to leave. This was for the following reasons: The pod is not designed for 4 adults which was explained on the phone on August 1st, a full week before your arrival. All our pods are designed for 2 adults and up to 2 children on the sofa bed. The hot tub is designed for and can only fit 2 adults - our high standards of hygiene cannot be maintained otherwise. We follow the government guidelines which clearly state that ‘no more than two households should meet up indoors’ and should maintain a social distance of 1 metre plus. We feel that we have a responsibility to protect our other guests staying in our glamping pods who were all families from one household.

We stayed in a tree pod which was very romantic and cosy. The Pod itself was very well made and secure with plenty of room. The pictures actually make it look smaller than it is. It was a bit disappointing to not have an oven as there is room for one and this would have provided more options for food. We found some kitchen items such as frying pans to be dirty and therefore had to clean everything before use, especially with Covid. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing of an evening and this was reinforced with the romantic lights around the tree pod. Towards the end of our stay we noticed the hot tub had a smell to it and was cloudy. I feel this is due to not having any maintenance during our 4 night visit. We didn’t bring this up with the accommodation team as it was our last night but I’m sure they would have sorted it, it just seems it could have been prevented.
I’m glad we booked the tree pod and not a standard pod... on the website it displays them in a light which looks very secluded. Unfortunately this is not the case and they are in fact very close together with little privacy.
At the end of our stay we had no information on what to do on check out, after a failed attempt to contact the owner we left the key where we found it and left. It’s disappointing that even now after the holiday we haven’t had a single email thanking us for our custom which you get at most places.
I would stay here again however for a shorter time period, but I would look for other options such as Centre parks (which is actually cheaper) beforehand.

Thank you so much for your review, we really appreciate your comments. The usual length of stay for guests is 2 nights, occasionally 3, and we are confident that the hot tub is designed to maintain a good level of cleanliness during our guests stay. Between bookings the hot tub is fully emptied, throughly cleaned, disinfected and refilled afresh. We would have been more than happy to assist at the time if we had known of any issues, however we are grateful for your feedback as going forward if we have any 4 night bookings we shall ensure the hot tub is refreshed mid-stay. We sincerely apologise for the pan which we are alarmed to hear had been missed. We thank you for bringing this to our attention as we have now addressed this with the relevant member of staff. Please rest assured we have implemented increased procedures to disinfect our pods between guests and take the Covid matter very seriously indeed. With regards to the 4 woodland pods, they are deliberately situated in an ideal proximity to one another as they are designed to accommodate a gathering of friends/family and they incorporate the use of a shared central shower block and outdoor bbq and seating area. They can only be booked for a group stay and cannot be booked individually. I am sorry to say it would appear you may have not noticed that the ‘check out’ notes are on the other side of the ‘check in’ notes , displayed on a laminated sheet in all of the pods. We greatly value your custom and it is very important to us that guests thoroughly enjoy their stay here at Wootton Park. We very much appreciate your suggestion of sending a follow up email and will look into implementing this going forward. We hope you enjoy the rest of the summer and hope to see you again in the future.

On arrival to the venue on the morning we noticed dirty tampons in the car park!!
The pods had out of date curdled milk and no sugar.
Beautiful venue but the staff at this venue are extremely rude and patronising if your looking for a perfect wedding I’d advise you to book somewhere else unless your happy to pay 16000 for a local bar party feeling.
The staff was rude to the Dj telling him to shut the party down 15 mins early. guests was forced to rooms but clothes and suitcases from hayloft and grooms room was just thrown into the living room of the farm with no organisation. Whilst trying to find belongs of guests everyone was rushed to bedrooms, casusing family arguments :-(.
We was constantly chasing wedding coordinators around the venue for help throughout the day! The bride got took away no where to be seen with the registrar, everyone was looking for her, and guests was left standing in the rain, maid of honour had said upon arrival it’s going to rain venue should be inside but they left it until the guests was soaked last minute.
The icing on the cake the bride was pulled off the dance floor by a member of staff (Tilly), to point out that some children had made a mess that could of been cleaned so easily with a vacuum, as the bride cleaned up this mess after tilly had shouted in her face and ripped the dress in the process. Which made the bride cry!!! ((No compensation offered for this dress may I add))
When we contacted the venue in regards to this only for them to be aware and make someones else experience better than ours everything they had to say was to complain about the wedding guests and children there was 37 children at this all under the age of 12 they was aware of this on booking and had no problems so surely staff should of been trained to work along side children, and understand there can be hiccups when children are involved but in my eyes the children was very well behaved part from the odd little hiccup. Which could of been prevented witch better organisation of the venue being proactive knowing in advance there was so many children.
This part is disgusting So many guests was also approached begin accused of doing drugs around children when infact it wasn’t them this is rude to point the fingers with out evidence. When the bride contacted you, you insulted her very much by pointing this out you also upset my guests that evening that are anti drugs so your staff stood in a dark room watching people In The car park that could of been staying in the pods not part of the wedding venue. But without being patronising in your response to our complaint from the bride and not taking note that their was faults on your side only wanting to place the blame on other people no one is perfect and there is always room for improvement.
I’m not looking for a response or anything from this merely leaving this comment for any future couples looking for the perfect day.

I spoke to Louise on the day of the wedding and discussed this complaint with her. She said we would discuss it further the following morning but instead decided to leave a review here. We have also been in touch with the bride and Tilly apologised for accidentally damaging the dress, which obviously wasn't intentional. Unfortunately there were a lot of children who were not being supervised by their parents and were behaving inappropriately. The venue staff are not qualified child care workers and should not have been expected to look after the children. Unfortunately there were a minority of guests who persisted in trying to bring in their own drink and drugs, despite being warned several times by members of staff. As a licensed venue we have a duty of care to the guests and staff, especially as there were minors on site and we operate a zero tolerance policy to this behaviour. We are staggered that somebody would do this at a friend or family members wedding and potentially ruin the day. We have staff available throughout the whole day and we were not made aware of the other issues raised. If there's anything you're not happy with on the day you just have to say and we will do our best to correct it there and then.

We had the most amazing short break at Wootton Park, the perfect place to unwind and relax. Our pod (Pegasus) felt very secluded and totally immersed in the beautiful countryside, we enjoyed the stunning view from the private hot tub. The pod was very cosy and well equipped with everything needed, including a welcome basket with some much appreciated little treats. The bed was extremely comfortable. The check in/out process was very simple thanks to the very attentive and helpful service and the great comms received for our booking. The location is perfect, just a short distance from the very picturesque Henley-in-Arden and other Warwickshire tourist attractions.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Andromeda Pod for 2 nights. We arrived on Monday, we were directed to call the number provided on our confirmation email when we arrived at the gate. The lady on the phone directed us to our pods via the phone - no contact and safe due to corona virus. The pods are directs in front of the car parking area. The pods are all spaced out - we didn’t even notice that there were people in the pod next to ours. The pod had laminated instructions inside for our stay/ WiFi / TV / Hot Tub. The hot tub was already on so we could get straight in. The Pod is a lot larger than we expected, there was a sofa, double bed, quite large shower, flushing toilet, microwave, kettle, coffee/tea/sugar, glasses, plastic cups, Bowls, Cutlery etc. The WiFi worked very well too. The surrounding area of the pods was great, very scenic. The surrounding area was lovely, local pubs, shops, takeaways, fishing ponds etc. We loved it and would go back, very much worth the money.
