Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely warm welcome, excellent freshly cooked breakfast which was plentiful. Our room was well appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The only issue was the bed was quite soft for my 6"3 husband

Very warm welcome. Lovely clean room. Quiet. Good location - 4 minutes walk to the seaside, 15 minutes walk into Bognor centre. Great breakfast. All round good value. If in Bognor again would definitely stay here.

We had a great stay at The Aldwick B’nB. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, including a small fridge for the milk provided and a fan, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast in the morning was delicious; we particularly liked the fresh fruit bowls and the proper butcher’s sausages. Veronica and Mike were helpful and accommodating hosts. They have created a homely B’nB with lots of lovely touches that make you feel at home. We’ve already booked again for next year and can’t wait to be back.

We have stayed here a few times now as I often visit family in Bognor. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else to stay. The family room is a fantastic size and very clean. Breakfast was fabulous, comes out hot and eggs cooked to perfection. I really think this hotel is good value for money. Staff are lovely too. We will be back.

We stayed at the Aldwick for 1 night due to a train strike prior to our Butlins holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and we were given bottled water and milk for the mini fridge on arrival. The beds were very comfortable and it was very very quiet. Ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet! In the evening we walked to a restaurant on the front, it was less than 10 minutes walk away. Very convenient location. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, bacon and sausages were very good quality.

Just returned from our second visit to The Aldwick B&B. My review is titled best B&B in Bognor with a question mark. Is it the best? I dont know as we have not stayed anywhere else in Bognor. But it has to be up there with the best. The B&B in run by Mike & Veronica & they are a lovely friendly couple. On arrival we was greeted by Mike. He checked us in. We had room 3 which is in the first floor. The room was nicely decorated and very modern and most importantly spotlessly clean. There is a kettle and a mini fridge in the room. The room had plenty of space and a bathroom with a shower. There is a lift to all floors of the B&B which is handy as my wife has mobility problems & uses a wheelchair. The breakfast room is nice and bright. You can help yourself to serials, yogurt's and fruit juices. All branded names. Veronica comes to the table and asks you what you want from the breakfast menu. You can have a full English or anything you like. They cater for Vegans and vegetarians. I had the full English every day which consisted of 2 sausages, 2 bacon, fried bread, hash brown, fresh mushrooms & tomatoes, and your choice of eggs. plus toast. I like black pudding so brought my own but I think if I gave Veronica more notice she would have bought some. All quality stuff, sausages were lovely not cheap ones. The Aldwick has a small bar with reasonable prices. It is very close to the beach and town. There a few nice places to eat nearby, a nice Italian we went to and on the sea front The navigators we eat at a few times. If you dont drive like us there are good transport links. The train station is nearby. We live on the Isle of Wight which is not far so after getting ferry we got the bus from Portsmouth. Its not far and you change at Chichester. If you get the number 600 it goes past the road the Aldwich is on. From the town you can get the 700 to Chichester, Portsmouth, Littlehampton, Worthing & Brighton (takes a long time, better off getting the train). We got around the five days we stayed. We really enjoyed our stay. You come as guests but leave as friends. Mike and Veronica were both very caring towards my wife with her disabilities. You cant go wrong staying here. For best price book direct. We have already booked for next year. Thanks once again Mike & Veronica for your hospitality & we look foward to our visit next year. You could not go wrong staying here.

We stayed here the night before attending the Goodwood Revival. Mike was very welcoming as we were early but that was no issue at all. He gave us some tips on where to get a bite to eat, which we used and enjoyed. The room was great, very clean, super comfy beds and a spacious bathroom. Only downside was not a great deal of natural light, but this was a godsend when it came to sleeping. We even had a fan to use on one of the hottest days of the year. Breakfast was great, with good quality ingredients and really set us up for the day. We will return.

We had a very lovely 2 night stay at the Aldwick. Veronica and Michael are very welcoming hosts and the whole experience was relaxing. The quality and cleanliness of the room and the whole hotel was excellent and breakfast was superb. Easy parking and a very quiet setting with easy access to the beach and local shops. We will return !

Very welcoming and great service at this B&B. Very comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was excellent. Well located for everything in Bognor and comes with parking, a big bonus. If I searched hard for any constructive criticism it would be it is a little dated but this is only an opinion and there was no milk on the room - the smallest of oversights given I went down to a lovely tea at breakfast anyway!

What a great find. Could not fault the accommodation or the breakfast. Is 5 minutes walk from sea or pub and restaurant or about 10 minutes from main town.. Book it , you will enjoy. Very quiet road as well. Will be the first place we go to if back in Bognor.
