Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely property. Visited with my daughters 10& 2. We stayed in the twin barn. Was stunning. Deborah was extremely welcome as soon as we arrived. A real home from home. Clean room, comfy beds, nice selection with tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. The communal table was abit daunting to eat with other guests but that was also fine once relaxed into the idea. A great, quaint place to relax. Warm and cozy. Thank you.

We stayed at this wonderful B & B for 4 nights in the luxury barn accommodation and everything was just superb. The room was spacious and had everything you needed and a generous size en-suite with very large jacuzzi. Breakfast was served in the owners house and was just wonderful, Deborah the owner put on such a wonderful spread, everything was of the highest quality and my husband said the cooked breakfast was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this exceptional B & B.

We have just returned from our second stay at The Old Priory and again enjoyed every minute. We loved the warm welcome from Deborah, our pretty room with everything we needed and the delicious home cooked breakfast (thanks too to the beautiful smiley Paula). It was so nice to just unwind in such beautiful and peaceful surroundings and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. The pool area was stunning and we watched the sunset whilst comfortably reclining on the sun loungers. The location is perfect to visit the many local beaches, we squeezed in Arundel Castle, Chichester Marina and West Dean Gardens this time. We will definitely return again!! X

We had a couple of nights away after our wedding to chill. Deborah made us feel very welcome, when we told her we had just got married she wanted to hear all about it and to see some photos. We didn't travel too far for this break but it was still lovely. The room was so nice with a spa bath, we used the hot tub too (pool was a little too chilly) breakfast was delivered to our room,it was very hot and tasted great. Would recommend. Boo bo the dog is very welcoming too......

We booked the Old Priory for a mum's night away after having other trips cancelled due to covid/isolation. On arrival Deborah was more than happy for us to sit by the pool and eat the lunch we had bought with us and our own drinks. We checked in at 2pm after pre ordering our breakfast for the following morning. The family room in the house was light and airy and immaculate. We had a good selection of tea, coffee and chocolate bars in the room. We walked in to Bognor which took about 35 mins and was a nice easy walk. After returning back in the evening, we sat in the room, had a few drinks and played cards! Breakfast was delicious, especially the sausages. I would definitely recommend staying here. Deborah is a great host and very welcoming. I will be going back.

My wife and I have stayed here twice now to meet friends in nearby pagham. We live in Bracklesham but it's so nice here worth paying the extra rather the paying two journeys in a taxi to and from bracklesham and so I can have a drink and not worry about driving. Deborah is lovely and very welcoming from the first moment when she takes your breakfast order for next morning. Nothing is too much and the breakfast is fabulous by the way. Bo Bo the new foundland is no harm and very laid back he's a lovely boy and loves being outside the front entrance. We normally book hotels over b&bs but this b&b is a special one and so quiet and relaxing. I don't see how anyone would think this place is disappointing if your looking in the area to book somewhere I honestly don't think there will be much better if at all 10 out of 10 5 out of 5 Sure we will be back
