My wife & I have just spent a Friday evening & Saturday at Bailiffscourt Hotel. The focus of the evening was a talk by Sally Gunnell, winner of the 400m Hurdles Gold Medal at Barcelona 1992 & the World Championships the following year. Her husband Jon also spoke about coaching & his role providing altitude training for our Olympians. The... More

My wife and I stayed at Bailiffscourt for our first wedding anniversary. The rooms are beautiful, we stayed in superior room. It was lavishly furnished with 4 poster bed and very luxurious wet room bath and shower room. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room along with a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The Spa is quite... More

Decided to stay here in October in a superior room. I said I wanted a twin because I hate four poster beds. What we got was 2 four poster beds, and a fire place, recently used, with the ash still in the grate. I asked for it to be cleaned but a reason was given for it remaining, [I forget... More

Popped in to see what it was like. Very olds worldly place. Had coffee ,which came with biscuits. Then decided to stay for lunch . Had the snack menu, had a sandwich ,lovely served with sliced carrot mix and home made crisps. Nicely presented , although had to wait a while to be served. Lovely walks around the woods. Had... We went for Sunday lunch which is a fixed price three course menu for £31 a head. The food was all freshly cooked and utterly delicious with a good choice. Excellent service and the location is just stunning.

We returned last week from our second family visit to Bailiffscourt having taken advantage for the second year in the run of their October half term deal. It did not disappoint again. We simply love it there as a family. The grounds are beautiful and good for exploring with the kids. The location is great being close to the gorgeous... More

We had previously had lunch at Bayliffscourt and decided to treat ourselves to a two night stay for our birthdays. I booked online and we arrived on Friday lunch time. The toilet in our room was broken so we had to wait a little while for it to be fixed and were given a complimentary glass of Prosecco. When we... More

A four night break with my wife whilst our teenage daughter was on a school trip. We have stayed here before and we once again had a wonderful stay. Stayed in the beautiful Southwode feature room, which gave us the benefit of a separate seating area. Wonderful hotel and great warmth from all the staff, from checking in to breakfast... More

We had heard of Bailiffscourt as a hotel spa from friends prior to our visit. We decided to have lunch there, and as we were early, we decided to visit Climping Beach :less than stunning on a grey windy day, paper, rubbish all over the beach. We then returned to the hotel. The entrance and first view of the house... More
