Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good clean travelodge, that’s all you need on a stay over for business. Staff amazing and rooms spotlessly clean, thank you to Natalie who cleaned my room. Billy’s next door is a bonus for breakfast but a pain it closes at 4pm. I will definitely be staying again when I’m in the area.

Simple, clean comfortable accommodation perfect for someone to stop and sleep overnight, a good spot that although basic and functional gives a comfy bed, en-suite bathroom, is quiet leaving you well charged for the next day. There’s also an independent all day cafe next door for something hot to eat which opens at 7.00am

It was convenient for visiting family close by and the price was good. A good clean room with very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking and the adjacent Billys is good for a wide choice for breakfast. Would definitely consider again.

Lovely rural Travelodge, all on the ground floor, quiet, useful position. Amazing breakfast place next door. PS it is time you stopped this outdated business of charging for WiFi. In case you hadn’t noticed, free WiFi is now available everywhere. I would give 5* instead of 4* except for this silly charge.

Staff very helpful, particularly in pointing me in the direction of local places to eat. Lovely large room that had a bath as well as a shower. Could do with a few more power sockets. The best thing for me is that it is very quiet. Overall a very lovely stay. I will be returning in the spring…

The manager Jan was most helpful and welcoming. We were given a room on a quiet corridor as we had been travelling over from France on stormy seas and needed to sleep! The room was spotless and the bed was truly comfortable. Thank you to Natalie who did such a good housekeeping job. This is a great well run little Travelodge - very happy to recommend it.
