I stayed here last night, whilst working away on business. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. It's a fair old walk back into town, but probably not a bad thing really. Will certainly be back for sure.

I stayed at the hotel over New Year and the beginning of January. The stay was comfortable and staff were accommodating. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices and the dinner menu was substantial as well. Staff were friendly and present throughout the hotel. I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

Great service. Very clean, well equipped room, Good location. Cheerful, polite and helpful front desk staff. Good value for money. Thoughtful touches, e.g. mince pie and Christmas card (Christmas Day). Pleasant decor throughout and plenty of communal areas to relax in

Overall this a reasonably priced...

Turkey and trimmings and Xmas pud was all fine but the soup was overspiced. Service was quite slow clearing the main course dishes. I would like to try this restaurant again when it isn't Christmas meals.

Had Sunday lunch here with a group of friends. We hadn't met for a while and wanted a good catch-up. Started out with a drink in the bar, where the staff were very helpful and friendly, bringing us the menus so we could make our choice at leisure. Then proceeded into the Courtyard Restaurant which is very attractive and has...

Returned from holiday to find central heating down. Service engineer could not attend until next day so my wife and I stayed overnight at the nearby Birch Hotel, we had stayed there many years ago and found the hotel average at best. The hotel has been extensively refurbished, we booked B&B which was faultless, cannot speak highly enough about the...
