We had not seen our Son, living in Hove, since March, and we booked into the East Brighton Carson’s Club site. On arrival, we were informed no guests were allowed to visit, although no masks were worn in their office by staff!. I called Barn Caravan Park on the off chance, and Joe was fantastic. Fitted us in, visitors welcome ( subject of course to the usual rule of 6). A lovely, friendly site with clean facilities and easy access to beach walks. Highly recommended.

My family and I stayed at The Barn for two weeks during August. This was a last minute booking due to the pandemic, and thank goodness they had a place left for us, Joe and Kirsty are a lovely couple, very welcoming and relaxed. The Barn is very homely with a great layout. It was lovely not to be encased by caravans. The pitches were a great size and we could easily fit our caravan, awning and two annexes. We also liked the complementary picnic benches available to use. Shower and toilet facilities were cleaned consistently and hot water always available. Nice little touch having music playing in the washroom facilities. Location of the site is perfect, 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 minute walk (2 minute drive!) to the train station and supermarket. What I was particularly impressed with was that Joe and Kirsty did not try and take advantage of the fact that we had two dogs, two children etc by charging us extra as some campsites do. All the caravans/tents encircled a playing area and goal which meant the children could be watched but were not infringing on anyone else’s pitch. All in all we had a fabulous holiday at The Barn Caravan Park and can’t wait to return next year.

Just got back from a week stay and I don't know where to start. Firstly the owners are the friendliest couple you could ever hope to meet. Nothing is too much bother. And they are never far away if you need some assistance. The toilets and showers are spotless. and are cleaned regularly. There is even a freezer in the ladies to store your ice packs. There's a park and a football goal to keep the Kids entertained. And in general there is a nice relaxed atmosphere about the place. It's only a short walk into lancing town. And an even shorter walk to the beach which is just away from the busier part of lancing beach. I can't speak more highly of this place and can't wait to get back down there. 10/10

We have just spent a week here, it was our second visit,as we went last year. The owner Joe is one of the friendliest and most helpful owners I have ever met. He gives you a choice of pitches if he can. The site is very clean with toilets and showers two of each per block. There is washing up facilities with only cold water but an electric plug in the shower block where you may heat a kettle for hot water. There are plenty of rubbish bins and recycling bins, which are emptied frequently. A water tap for drinking water, a chemical waste point and a grey water drain. There is also a freezer for cold packs to be stored so you can make a picnic for your day trips. There is an Asda and some other shops 10 mins walk away. Also you will find several different takeaways and the train station. In the other direction you can catch a bus to Worthing or go to the beach or Catch the Coastliner bus. Lancing beach is very pleasant and has a very nice walk along the path. There are plenty of places to visit, Shoreham, Brighton, Worthng, Lancing ring nature reserve, walks on the South downs and Devils dyke to name a few. After a busy day you can relax and watch the small planes that fly over from the near by airport while your children can play on the equipment that The Barn caravan park provides or compete at scoring goals with the football net that is in the middle of the site and kept clear for children to play safely. It is a very relaxing and peaceful park to be on. The WiFi was very good and pets are welcome, there is a choice of electric or non electric pitches. I would highly recommend this for anyone whether caravanning or camping with or without children , old or young. You won't be disappointed.
