A popular destination, our Littlehampton Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite situates you just a 30-minute walk away from the seaside resort. And while the Club campsite itself offers a play area and playground, ideal for families, you'll find plenty of fun activities to get the whole family involved by heading to the seaside. Here you'll find a myriad of waterside restaurants, a funfair, golf course and museum, while a miniature train provides picturesque scenes along the beachfront. No matter what you decide to do, be sure to consider heading further afield to historic towns such as Arundel, and seaside resorts such as Worthing and Brighton - all of which are great locations to explore while caravanning in West Sussex.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After reading some reviews regarding this site I was a little sceptical about our visit. We arrived early and were greeted by very cheerful and polite staff who were very accommodating. Our pitch was well maintained along with the rest of the site. The toilet block was always clean and tidy as expected. This is a beautiful site well located for many a lovely day out. I would highly recommend this site. There is slight road noise during peak time but did not prevent us from all getting a good nights sleep. There is a small play ground for young children but we also witnessed children playing ball games around there pitches with no issues. Thank you to all at this site for a lovely stay.

Great site good location very clean and well organised, the staff Paul and Karen couldn't have been more helpful and we will definitely be back. Karen even lent my wife Lesley her rucksack for a trip into Littlehampton.

The site with is within easy walking distance of two pubs and there is a bus to Littlehampton if you don't have your own transport.

As previous comments state I agree that the site is clean and friendly, but they do lack to state it is very noisy. There is a lot of traffic noise as it is beside a very busy road with a lot of “boy racers”. You also have trains passing every 10 to 15 minutes from 6 am until midnight
Littlehampton is very “rundown”, and although we stayed in July nothing was open on the sea front. It is a 30 mins walk which isn’t pleasant due to the amount of traffic
It is only 10 mins drive to Arundel which is fantastic
I am afraid I will not be back

It’s the most depressing site we’ve visited this year. If you have children avoid. The fact that the playground is empty says it all.
The location looks like it is ideal for littlehampton, which it is but tbh the town itself is tired and needs a spruce up.
Both pubs nearby don’t do food, so you can’t walk anywhere for a meal.
The staff at reception were pretty rude on arrival, the caravan club app / booking said arrival from 12, it’s actually 1. We got here at 12 and it wasn’t a warm welcome at all. We even heard the lady moaning about us as we popped out to grab lunch to kill the hour. If there were any other sites locally with vacancies we would have moved sites.
The toilets and showers are ok, hot water etc… I just think this site is for a more mature camper who enjoy quiet. Maybe it would be better advertised as adults only?!

This campsite is soulless, depressing and not worth a penny of your money. You will have more fun in a morgue. From the minute you arrive the staff are militant - like you are disturbing their day. What we found particularly disturbing is the two ladies running the booking in and how unpleasant they are to children. Our child has special needs and is nearly 8 and this experience has been the worst that we have had.

Rules are their to be enforce and the staff almost seem to get off on finding ways to make your stay unpleasant.

Yes the facilities are clean and yes it’s generally tidy. But that doesn’t see past the fact that it is completely lifeless. It was like something from 28 days later.

We stayed here with two 8 year olds over a rainy weekend. The campsite is quiet and clean with good toilets/showers. The pitches are well sized and laundry/washing facilities are ok. What I found really off-putting about this site is the customer service and the way the people who work here talk to customers. We got a patronising dressing-down for not parking close enough to the peg. We complied, of course, but the tone of the conversation was very belittling. During a brief respite from the rain, I started to play foam ball tennis on the green patch by our pitch. I promptly got told off that playing ball is against the rules and to play in the dog walking field. Let me say that in a different way, I got told to play ball with my children in a field where dogs go to poo. They were foam balls! It's a small thing but after 18 months of Covid rules and kids not being able to play as much, it really irked me that fun seems to be against the rules at this campsite.

It's probably a good campsite for some but I wouldn't recommend it to families.

There were 2 separate accidents, and then a fire on our way there and having left more than enough time it was debatable whether we would make the 8.00pm arrival, but would instead arrive about 8.30pm or 8.04pm.

I called to advise this and asked if they could hold on 3 or 4 minutes and was bluntly told that even if we were there at 8.01pm they would not let us on the site. They recommended another site and suggested we turn round and head back 30+ miles in the direction of London which would not have been much good for the Festival of Speed.

We did make it in time even though they had locked up early, and had to go to all the trouble of unlocking everything again, however as they had stated previously every single minute counted and as we were there at 7.55pm..................

I am not unreasonable, and completely understand people want to finish on time, want to get away etc. etc. and had we arrived at 8.15pm then I would have had no issues with being refused entry - but I would have hoped that human compassion would have prevented them ruining an entire trip for the sake of 2 or 3 minutes - Shame!

Above aside there were no issues.

Went to campsite for my sons birthday with a couple of his friends.very unfriendly atmosphere although it is said to be suitable for families . You’d of thought we had 3 aliens with us . Had several complaints about the boys playing in the playground and second evening the manager told us the boys would have to stay in the tent . Also another camper complained about us having a bbq , isn’t that what you do when you camp ? even had trouble with walking our well behaved dog in the dog field . I would definitely NOT recommend this site for families .

Arrived safely at the littlehampton camc site yesterday afternoon. Only the second time towing the beast. Lovely location close to Arundel 🙌🥰
Edit: Facilities are excellent and very clean 24 hours a day. Lots of toilets, showers and even a section of hair dryers to use. Picture of shower included.
We found a beach in Rustington which is around 3 miles from the site that was very quiet and dogs are allowed on it. The most beautiful morning walk.
If you go to Arundel the black rabbit pub is a must, situated right on the river with beautiful views of the castle 🏰 👌
Morrisons is 0.7 of a mile from the site. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back! Love love love ❤️
