We have stayed here a few times before. It's always been very nice. This time, as normal a great welcome, lovely room, Great food BUT walls are thin so currently wide awake due to noisy neighbours bashing around and shouting. Can hear every word of the family next door. Not so much the relaxing chilled break that we so wanted.... More

Very comfortable rooms, ground floor with own front door, in converted barn with bar and restaurant just a few steps away. Had a meal in the restaurant one evening and it was of a high standard. Breakfast excellent. Bar is very comfortable with decent beers and a good choice of wines.

We stayed here for two nights over the bank holiday weekend and both thought it was fantastic! We stayed in room 1 and it was beautifully decorated, very clean and the exposed beam added a real rustic feel. The bed was absolutely huge and VERY comfortable and the complimentary water was a nice touch considering it was very warm outside!... More

We stayed at the Halfway Bridge Inn for two nights - this was our third visit. Really well designed and kept bedrooms in a former stable block/barn nearby. A delightful team runs the inn, and the chef provides a great breakfast. All for a very reasonable price, especially if your visit doesn't coincide with one of the Goodwood events!

English country inn with luxurious accommodation. We stayed 2 nights and dined in both nights. Service was very good and the food delicious. Highly recommended for a quiet weekend away. Discreet, romantic style rooms in a separate area to the main inn. Good location for exploring West Sussex.

we stayed in June as we were visiting the festival of speed. room 3 was really well appointed but the bathroom smelt and the tea and coffee were not refilled, at over £240 a night for a pub it's expensive. the food in the pub was really nice although a number of our party had upset tummies the next day,... What a find. 20 mins from home. Four of us dined here last Saturday evening. We were greated with smiles and courtesy, and shown straight to our table. And that was the only tiny criticism, I would have quite like a pre-dinner drink first in the bar. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the... More

Cosy, comfortable, restful inn, with separate rooms from the restaurant where the cooking is absolutely delicious, with fresh and subtle flavours. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. All this for very reasonable prices and in beautiful, mellow countryside. Thank you!!

The accommodation here has been done out really well and is set back just from the pub itself. It seems they have been converted from old stables and have floor to ceiling windows, or at the one I stayed in did, and a couple of those opened out from the bottom which was quite novel, but let in some nice...
