Scotts Farm Camping Site is a wonderful place to bring the family for the holidays or just the weekend. Large grassy fields and play area for the kids. Dogs are welcome and a large walking area is provided. The village is within 10 minutes walking distance of the camp site. It has great choice of restaurants, takeaways, pubs and other shopping amenities to suit all your needs. 10 minutes walk from the award winning beach of West Wittering make it a lovely place to spend your holiday or weekend. Tents, touring caravans and camper vans are all welcome. There are modern toilet and shower blocks with a wash and laundry room and disabled facilities and we have a small site shop which supplies camping gas, ice packs and other camping sundries.

Scott’s Farm is easily accessible from the main A27. Located a short walk from the beach and the town it makes for a perfect base to explore The Witterings, Bognor, Selsey and Chichester. Scott’s Farm is a back-to-basics campsite where you’re able to choose your pitches. They don’t take bookings, so it is on a first come first served basis. It’s our second visit here and we’ve had no problem getting a pitch, although both times have been outside of school holidays. There are no fully serviced pitches, but there are two large fields offering electric hook up. There are large shower blocks, toilets, a small shop, dog walking area and a dog shower onsite. The pitches are large with plenty of room for the caravan, awning and car. We loved the 5pm check-out - it makes the holiday so much more relaxed and we got an extra day on the beach!

Rude, aggressive and no concept of customer service. Due to a misunderstanding we placed a pup tent on an electric pitch with our campervan, After the owner swore at me he then asked us to leave - could easily have been resolved amicable however he felt that it was best to swear, and rant. Avoid at all costs. The owner is a money grabber, pay extra for an additional car, pay extra if someone parks a car next to you so we could go for a meal, extra for a small tent so the kids can sleep in. We had a small campervan, no encroachment on any other area. Tried to ruin our holiday, was extremely aggressive and rude.

Avoid a wasted journey. They do not allow you to book in advance and when we arrived, we were told we were a group. Despite going here for a number of years with said 'group' we tried to explain this, but the man we spoke to (who also has been there years) was not prepared to listen, and made us out to be liars. Most of the group is over 60! Make it clear in big letters on all your info Scotts NO MORE THAN 2 ADULTS. What about 2 adults who have a disabled parent or disabled adult child to care for?? What about gran who comes with her daughter and her husband, so she can help look after the twins?? Family friendly!?! They do not want to know. The facilities have always been basic, with lack of hot water issues and the bins often overflowing and members of staff patrolling like prison guards coming right up to tents regardless of your privacy. The only plus point is the location for the coast. We then ended up at a place called Stubcroft farm, far superior in every way. Friendly staff and the facilities are wonderfully clean. So thanks Scotts for your discriminatory rules, we found somewhere much better as a result to now visit.

First time here in 8 years and the focus is much more on families rather than large groups. Staff had a good set up, showers were regularly cleaned, staff were monitoring the park day and into the night. We even saw a member of staff remove an older child from the park ( not sure what had happened ) We stayed 6 nights and over bank holiday where extra fields were opened and yes it was busier and a little noisier into the night , but that is to be expected. Field was well looked after and flat, the park was a great bonus for the younger children The wood fired pizzas were amazing and the kids liked the ice cream van. Shops were only a short walk away with a great range of places to eat and drink We walked to east Wittering beach and cycled along the cycle track and road to west Wittering. We will be back and love the fact you can’t pre book !

After calling ahead 4 weeks prior to our visit to confirm the details of our group for a three-night camping trip, we travelled 2 hours with two small children and a group of 14 people. We were told they don’t take bookings but our group would have no trouble checking in due to the size of the farm. Upon arrival my husband spoke briefly to a lady who said that we were fine to check-in, but understandably she would need a member from each pitch to register their details. When he returned with more members of the group to do just that, another member of staff advised him that our group was too large and we were unable to stay there. Apparently 8 adults were fine but 9 was too many, even though the 9th member was my 18 year old stepson. We tried another local campsite but they only took pre-bookings like most do. As a large group, who had travelled a long way with young children who were really excited for our holiday, we were desperate! We returned to Scott’s farm to see if there was anything to be done. We explained that we were happy to check-in separately, to be positioned apart. They were absolutely adamant that we would not be staying there. I asked what they were trying to avoid by having two young families and their grandparents stay for a family trip. We had no intention of being loud, raucous or causing any disruption. The children would be tired from the busy days we had planned and we just wanted to relax and enjoy our holiday after a tough year. The staff member we dealt with was indignant, he wouldn’t listen to our point and gave absolutely no justification for his argument. When I pointed out the terrible customer service and mentioned trip advisor they said i was threatening and that the discussion was on CCTV! If it were, I feel it would have done far more damage to their business than to me, as I would not recommend ever having to deal with these people to anyone. So rude. I’m 3 months pregnant and with a young child in the car who was bitterly disappointed, I was not threatening anyone, just doing what anybody would to try and salvage our holiday! We were lucky to find a beautiful spot to camp in and had a wonderful few days, I never ever complain but I just wanted to spare anyone else the same disappointment and stress that we endured.
