My husband and I stayed in Nairana cottage for 2 nights and had booked a day and night tour. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. Because we had been travelling around Tasmania for a couple of weeks, we were looking forward to having a home-cooked meal, so stocked up on food for dinner but when we checked the...

Dear Lynette, We are delighted you had such a great Tasmanian holiday and that you enjoyed your time with us. We are glad you found the breakfast provisions ample, hopefully they sustained you through your lengthy days of Bruny adventuring with Andrew. I'm happy your husband still found it all interesting even though he is not such an avid birder,...

You would never have to leave the property if you didn't want as there is so much wildlife on tap. However it's better to organise breakfast provisions and a guide in advance and then go out for days. There are plenty of walks on site and a couple of viewing platforms and they have an active nesting programme for Swift...

Loved the Jurassic garden ..inspired! We...

Dear Stacey and Laura, Apologies for the delay in our response, Thank you for your review, we are so delighted that you had such a great visit in January and that you enjoyed the accommodation and your tour with Tonia. Your list of highlights is very impressive. The baby wallabies that you fed have grown up a bit now, but...

I stayed in Nairana for four nights and it was excellent. The house is perfectly placed for bird and mammal watching and, if I hadn't been out birding all day and spotlighting in the evening with my excellent guide, Mark, I would have been happy just sitting and watching to see what turned up. The house itself is very clean...

We stayed for two nights. Wonderful house, well equipped, beautiful wood, and nice location. Easy to access good birding or hiking; just out the door. We stayed in Nairana and had internet and a washer/dryer.

“There are very limited accommodations, so the room you get depends upon the number of people in your party. The area is quiet & very restful. You can do as much or as little activity as you desire. Staff is very friendly & accommodating.”
