David and Iren are such gracious host and hostess. They are thoughtful, into details and welcoming. A strongly recommended place to stay. 5/5. You couldn't find a more accommodating place to stay than this one in the Campbell Town. The free range eggs from the back yard, the Berry Yoghurt, the green tea and coffee.... the list goes on and...

David was such a wonderful host. He went out of his way to chat with us about the history of the place and you can tell he's very passionate about all they've accomplished. We loved the Doctor's wing, it was perfect for our family and we wished we had stayed more than one night to relax and enjoy David's hospitality...

Although the Ivy on Glenelg website does give some idea of the rooms and facilities on offer, it's not until you experience it that you realise what a gem this property is. We were met on arrival by David who showed us both the Tuscan Room and the Doctor's wing. He gave us a quick history of the cottage and...

We arrived on a bleak windy day to be greeted by David and shown into the aptly named Dry suite. it was heaven. Comfort, warmth, attention to detail and so many unexpected pleasures. The color scheme was unusual but very relaxing and welcoming. When I asked Irene about it, the answer was that she doesn't do white. It was a...

Our family of 3 stayed here for one night in December. We were met by the owner, David and were shown to our room. We had our own private entrance and inside, a small, but fully equipped kitchen, breakfast provisions aplenty, complementary port and afternoon tea. Our room had a dishwasher and we were instructed not to do any dishes,...

Stayed in the Tuscan room as once again it was only for 1 night. Breakfast was superbly presented, and the bed wonderful. The amenities available rival those of a high-end hotel property. Am a picky customer and couldn't fault anything.

Fabulous B&B. Ivy is well situated to town centre and tourist attractions. The B&B has it all including breakfast and afternoon tea. David and Irene are the hosts. They are welcoming, intelligent and very informative regarding local attractions and Tasmanian history. A B&B experience that's a must.
