Me and my husband had a one night stay in their twin share backpacker room which for $120 was outrageously expensive for basically sleeping in a shed! We had superb motel rooms for less than this! Blankets and pillows supplied but have to use your own sleeping bag. There was a kettle in the room and tea, coffee and milk... More

We paid 27 AUD for one night camping at an unpowered pitch and almost instantly regretted it. Issues we had were as follows: i) we had paid 60 AUD for a national park pass and 27 AUD to camp. Firstly this appeared to be inconsistent with information provided online. Secondly you have to pay for showers and for BBQ which... More

This lodge seems relatively new and the cottage we stayed in was great, but such poor use of all the space......there is NOTHING on the walls so seems bare and although there is ample room there is no dining type table to sit and write or drink, only a small coffee table. They need heated towel rails in the bathrooms... More

We arrived at Lake St Clair early evening in our camper van looking for a camp site for the night near to the lake. Our idea was to get an early start to explore the area around the lake the following day. We went into the Lodge and booked a pitch, at reception it was pointed out to us the... More

We stayed in one of the wonderful cabins....no complaints there. It was comfortable, cosy, well-appointed with self catering easily done...but be sure to bring provisions with you....there's nothing around at all. The lodge dining experience is a curious one....the staff are all foreign obviously doing the visa requirements but they have no cohesion or team training. The system is confused... More

The rooms are located in front of Lake St Clair. It's too expensive for what you get. A bunkbed in a dorm was 45$ a night! But it was good to enjoy a bed after six nights in a sleeping bag. The food is not so bad too. It was nice to enjoy a good meal and a beer after... More

Having read some poor reviews on Trip Advisor we weren't expecting much from the Lodge. However, our lake view cottage was really nice with a very comfortable bed, great shower and was as quiet as a church. The restaurant's limited offering for dinner seemed bizarre given the much more extensive menu available for dinner but since we had just finished... More

It costs $25/35 for an unpowered/powered site to camp here, and it's honestly just not worth it. You will be camping in what is essentially a car park, with no view of the lake. The lake is totally surrounded by all the cabins which people pay a lot more for, so you are camping squished in amongst loads of other... More

The Lodge is just within the National Park so depending on the month there could be an extra fee on your accommodation. We checked in around 4.00pm and they were closed by 4.20pm so make sure you ring ahead if you're going to be late. We were going to have dinner there but were advised they were closed that evening... Lake St Clair is a beautiful location. The Lodge takes advantage of this, providing comfortable accommodation, even if a little pricey. Best combined bed and pillows on this trip so far. Roomy bathroom, wheelchair accessible. A good spot to access lake and walking tracks.
