Staff were all excellent, remembered who we were and our previous interactions. The wildlife freely wandering the resort is always exciting. Was very pleased to find the staff had lit the fire in our room while we went straight to dinner from checking in.

Service and atmosphere were second to none, everyone we encountered ( Tassie in general ) were very friendly, staff went out of thier way to help. Food was simply delicious, lodge was cosy, elegant and the log fires were impressive ( definitely created the atmosphere as soon as you walked into a room ) The natural beauty is just breathtaking....

A life experience out in the wilderness. We fell in love with the hiking, walks and the beauty of the mountains. Warm, comfortable accommodation with friendly staff. The Cheese Tasting optional is a must! The Bev Manager was knowledgeable and gave us a great understanding of 6 Tasmanian wines and cheeses to match.

I've written a previous highly favourable review of the Cradle Mountain lodge. Our most recent experience this week only added to our love of the area, with the base being the iconic lodge. A spa cabin towards the rear of the property was fantastic - spacious, comfortable, well appointed. The walk along a creek to and from the lodge was...

Most accommodation is in duplex cabins set in the woods, but while they are relatively close, we never felt like we had neighbours, and our deck looked out over forest. The cabins have working fireplaces (which are set up by staff, so only need to be lit and tended), and we had complimentary wine. The kitchen area is small but...

Thanks Grant007 you've absolutely captured what the Cradle Mountain Lodge experience is all about - letting go of our technology reliance for a couple of days and embracing all the wonderful things that this iconic part of Tasmania has to offer. (Ok we are currently working with Telstra to improve our Lounge Wi-Fi experience because we know that it's very...

We had 2 nights in a spa suite, it was comfortable without being spectacular. There was everything we needed and very clean. No view though. The staff were great and the location outstanding. The lodge itself was warm and cozy. We enjoyed the walks from there, waterfalls and enchanted. Food was good, expensive we thought, but it does have a...

We had one of the King Billy suites and although it was spacious, it lacked cosy appeal, even with the fire going and felt quite clinical. A short boarded walk from the room to the lodge and restaurant, was always rewarded with wildlife needed nearby. The enchanted walk was also delightful. The main restaurant was well staffed and the food...

Hi Mookiandsam Appreciate your comments and as an recent arrival myself I'm currently looking at the "cosy appeal" aspects you've highlighted. We've also just engaged a new international chef and are reviewing all aspects of our current food offerings with a view to embracing all things Tasmanian. Again thanks for posting. We had a lovely stay at Peppers, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room upon arrival was just lovely, the gas fire was going which made the room lovely and warm. Hi TKP1325 Thanks for writing and great to read you enjoyed your time with us - thanks also for the comments around noise from adjacent accommodation - I'm currently onsite in one of our cabins and have noticed the odd creaky floor moment but no Olympic snorers! But I will have a chat to Maintenance about that. Thanks again for...

Hi Andrew H Thanks for your feedback I've only recently arrived at the lodge and have been interested in feedback around the technology space. We are at the half way point of our 10 night tour of Tasmania, and we spent 2 nights here , which has been on our bucket list.
