The cottage was beautiful and the views were amazing from our lounge window as we sat on the balcony watching the water. So peaceful and quiet, the cottage was well equipped with everthing you needed. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The RSL serve lovely meals and the views of the boats in the water were beautiful.

This is an amazing place. Very clean spacious and well set up for self catering. The only place open for dinner was the local RSL.We shopped at the local supermarket which is open until 7 pm and prepared our own meal. It is super quiet and the views are amazing, highly recommend it.

Very neat and tidy, with responsive staff. Wonderful view of the yachts & fishing boats as they peacefully returned home in the late afternoon. All whilst admiring the horizon with a glass of wine. Do not be put off by the road in front as there is very little local traffic to bother you. I look forward to a return...

Stayed in front studio unit because of the gorgous view. Idea for a couple. Bed to one side adjacent to compact ensuite. (Great shower head and water pressure). You could lie in bed and watch the large tv or sit on the 2 seater couch which overlooks the river view. There is a small table and chairs to complement the...

Our studio cottage was beautifully located overlooking the water at Dover. Room was basic but served us well for a 2 day stay. A range of nibblies etc were for sale but some past their use by date. Area a little limited for dinner options. The Post Office Restaurant just around the corner was excellent.

Stayed three nights in an ocean view cottage. This cottage had two bedrooms and a view to Bruny Island. The cottage was detached, very large, well equipped (this particular cottage was wheelchair accessible) with full length windows from the living area facing the view, and a deck with table/chairs/BBQ. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Large bathroom with good bench space and a...

Driftwood Cottages are spotlessly clean, with modern, fresh furnishings, a kitchenette, and we loved the heated floors. Beautiful views - right across the road from the river. There is a grocery store nearby and several cafes/restaurants. Nothing to do with the hotel, but be aware: we stayed on a Monday night in winter and the only place open for dinner...

Driftwood Cottages in Dover are a convenient base for exploring the local area: Geeveston and Masaaki's Sushi, Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves and Ida Bay Railway. The cottage we stayed in was a bit tired looking but very clean and comfortable. It also had lovely direct views of the Bay and water. We also very much appreciated the under floor heating...

Our family stayed in one of the two bedroom cabins. Very clean with modern finishes and comfortable beds and pillows. The cabin had everything we needed. We went to the local RSL for dinner which was basic but fine for one night. It was a great overnight spot as we had spent the day exploring the area. We had a...
