We celebrated our last wedding anniversary in Tasmania where we had honeymooned 20years earlier. Treated ourselves with 2 luxurious nights at Saffire this time. Unbelievable luxury, service and attention. From the personal greeting and tour on arrival starting with a glass of champagne while you soak up the amazing views of the Hazards and Freycinet to the fine wines and...

It is some 18 months or so since we last visited this small piece of heaven on the east coast of Tasmania. Words do not do it justice, nor do all the national and international travel awards. A visit is the only way to do convince you that this is a "must" travel experience. It is just a stunning place...

we really tried hard to find some "room for improvement". This hotel, the staff, the location....they all make it very difficult to find something. At this price you expect perfection but you hardly get it anywhere. Here it's different. An elegant but very relaxed atmosphere, a warm (but not "artificial") friendliness, a dream of a location, excellent food and the...

When considering a trip to Tasmania it was always on our list to visit this hotel. In the end we stayed for 3 nights on a 7 day trip. Should have stayed longer. What a place. The attention to detail from the staff was absolutely fantastic. Started at the greeting which was very personal and warm. Continued throughout stay. Room...

We spent the last few weeks hopping around various parts of Australia and decided to spend Christmas at Saffire. They did not disappoint! Service From the second you arrive through the activities to the dining service - Saffire are on point. As the property is quite small, even in two days we felt like the staff got to know us...

Very luxurious, immaculately maintained, outstanding service, and private. As the lodge caters to only a limited number of guests (about 20 luxury [or better] suites) the service, privacy and personalisation is far beyond what you'd expect in even the best hotels which need to cater for hundreds or even more. And this also meant there was no army of service...

We experienced this amazing property as a family for two nights over the New Year period and what an experience. The staff, the location, the food, the wine and the surrounding outdoor environment were quite simply breathtaking. We arrived to be warmly welcomed by Michael, sat down to a glass of bubbles and orange juice and relaxed while Justin, the...

Big pavilions with view, 'plunge pool' (but not very deep), good food, solicitous staff, lovely location. Food is very 'modern Australian' so can be a bit challenging. There is a beach nearby but a swimming pool would be a good addition.

Staying at Saffire was an experience of a lifetime. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The service was meticulous. They thought of every minute detail that staying there make you feel every bit like a VIP. The activities were also very well planned and the activity leaders were all very considerate and thoughtful. The Palate Restaurant and the Cafe...

Dear Susiegee2016, I’m deeply sorry to read of your dissatisfaction, particularly given that we did not receive any response to the direct message we sent you inviting further feedback. Nonetheless, I will try to respond with the information you have provided above. The suite that you were in is 96square meters, and open plan. It naturally comes with a king...
