Our hastily organised stop-over between Strahan and Hobart at something different, a farm stay, proved to be a delight. We arrived early evening breaking up our trip to Hobart and was greeted by Jock - very friendly and helpful. He advised us where we were staying (Boobook - a type of owl hence there was an owl theme in the...

This farm is well organized by the owner Tim , the man of all trade! The BBQ lunch , shaving of the lamb , short ride to visit different parts of the farm, the vegetations and interesting " opium field"! The well distanced chalets are really isolated and attractive! Quite distinct from the several set up lamb shaving farm I...

My family (of 5) stayed in the Wombat cottage. I totally never expect a farm stay can be this great and gives such a wonderful experience. Guests get to stay in the wilderness in a spacious modern cottage which is very clean, with nice furniture and the kitchen is well-equipped. The farm tour is highly recommended (if not its a...

One word to summarize my experience at Curringa Farm ... WoW ! If that's isn't enough, then I strongly advise you to stay minimum 02 nights here (I heard most stay 01 night, which is grossly insufficient). Lots of things to do at the farm...including fishing at the lake behind stone throw away from the cottages. You can also do...

Stayed here for one night, not long enough. Two couples in Wedgetail Wings (WW) and a family of 5 in Over the Back. Both excellent. WW was great to gather together for BBQ on the deck. B'fast provisions provided. View excellent from all rooms and the deck area. We will return.

We stayed in the wedgetail cabin with our 2 children. It was just spacious, clean and warm with a view to die for. Breakfast provisions were amazing with farm eggs, bacon, homemade jam and bread. The farm experience for our kids was wonderful- they rode their bikes, explored the forest abound with wildlife and saw a sheep being shorn. They...

My family and I spent 2 days in Curringa Farm and enjoyed every bit of it! Honestly it wasn't anything like what I pictured a farm stay to be like - the cabin was spacious, clean and well-stocked! We had a bbq on our first night there and it was perfect for the chilly weather. Also, the freshly baked bread...

Hi Sui Chyuen W. Thank you so much for your lovely review. Yes most customers find our farm stay experience much better than their initial expectations. Our award winning accommodation was ranked best in Australia at the 2015 Australian Tourism Awards for Hosted Accommodation category. Regardless of this we absolutely enjoy meeting new people and showing them our way of...

We've just spent two days at Curringa Farm for my husbands 40th Birthday. From the very beginning of our stay Tim and Jane went above and beyond to make our stay special - from the first class accomodation, the farm tour with Jock and the lovely bbq food package and amazing Birthday cake. This is a very special place and...

The stay at their Tawny Pod changed our perception of what a farmstay actually is. The studio was as new and modern as it gets. It's perfect for couples who desire the space and privacy with lots of windows to admire the scenery of rolling hills and animals like sheep, rabbits and birds. We arrived late and it was a...
