Walked in hoping for some dinner on a Friday night. Heaps of people in there eating, we're told the kitchen is closed. It's 8pm. Pretty ordinary treatment for people from out of town. Just plain lazy. The Italian up the road was friendly and the food was great. This pub was just crap. Never going in there again. We would've...

Quite possibly the rudest unhappiest bar staff I have ever met. (No manners, no care, no respect). The lack of people in there is obviously a sign. If hanging with drunks with foul mouths and terrible food is your thing you will love it. My steak sandwich resembled a burnt old thong. Toughest steak I've eaten. Would never ever go...

Went for dinner with husband. Order the Wednesday special- Crumbed Scallops with chips and salad $15.00. It was great, good size meal, and cooked well. The dinning area is a little cold, but we didn't mind. Next time we will try to come on a Thursday as its Schnitzel parmigiana $15.00, my favourite.

Walked in to the Grand not expecting much after my last visit, what a suprise i got, didn't recognise the place, dining room completely renovated, new menu and wine list. Food was plentiful OH had battered flathead, chips & salad all freshly cooked. I had a fillet mignon with vegeatables, steak cooked exactly to my request. Friend enjoyed Lamb shank,...

Walked in, there wasn't a happy mood about the establishment. The husband and wife behind the bar were such a delight, that I felt like going outside and jumping off the bridge. No manners or even a smile while I ordered our meals. Ordered a Cuppacino. Would have preferred to drink toilet water than the crap they sell. The food...

Avoid go somewhere else. The food was terrible overcooked and a pathetic salad. The customer service even worse very rude staff. Refused to turn radio off when we where trying to watch a game of football. The radio was ahead of the game. Not a freindly pub did not feel welcome.

Stopped for lunch on 29/4. Value for money menu with friendly service but for us the roast pork was not complete without some delicious crackling. A greater selection of local wines would also have been much appreciated. Would try somewhere else next time rather than paying a return visit

We were disappointed with the various layers of different coloured paint at the entrance, cheap laminex style furniture and poor décor. With so many hotels in Hobart making superb efforts to be modern and stylish, this hotel really needs to reassess itself. We were surprised that our order only took ten minutes to arrive, but in peeling off the skin...

The one and only pub in Huonville and it's a dive. Arrived 7.30pm for dinner in the laminex tables 'dining room' to be told "we close at 8pm so you had better order soon". (This is DST, it's still daylight at 9.30pm). Upon ordering about 7.45, we were told we would have to take our meals out into the public...
