Don't go past this motel. You will not be disappointed. The Junction Motel is a unique experience and one not to missed. We stayed for two nights at the tail end of our Tassie adventure, originally only going to stay for one but we could not go past the wonderful hospitality and realness of this place. The owner Tim is...

A great little place to stay. Owner is a fount of knowledge and extremely helpful. The staff we met were all as helpful My wife and I were both ill during our stay and he could not have been kinder, going out of his way to find doctors and ensure all went ok. Junction motel is conveniently located in New Norfolk, about 20-30 minutes from Hobart. It is a modern motel, with a lot of personality. Our room was very spacious, with a small kitchenette and an ensuite bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant, which mostly serves pizzas, but has a few other options with asian inspiration. The dinner was good. The...

The venue's restaurant was closed when we visited but the owner referred us to the local pub that had the most amazing meals and for crazy affordable prices. The breakfast was excellent and is well...

This is a very quirky hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small and had a lot of furniture in it. Room was ok for one night stop over before going to Strathgordon. We were disappointed that lounge was closed. Bed was very uncomfortable.

This is a somewhat dated motel which has been renovated and give a touch of flair. It's got the basics right though - a shower head that sits above your head, an extract fan in the bathroom and comfortable beds. The owner was helpful at check-in with advice on where to go in town and nearby and we had a...

We stayed there for two nights. On arrival, we were welcomed by the owner Tim. He was extremely helpful and told us about the nice park nearby, a walk which took us along the scenic Derwent River, and direction to the town centre. We had dinner at the motel restaurant and Tim made it a most wonderful and memorable dinner...
