We liked the atmosphere of the whole Willow Court area. Quirky old trucks and great just wandering around in the old asylum grounds. People were pleasant and the motel restaurant was exceptional, both price and quality. The motel itself is more of a backpackers and fruit pickers…
We went to Willow Court Motel not becasue we want to stay there. It was the antique cars and trucks that attracted us to spend hours there. Even the cars and trucks are not well kept, it will be hard to find another place that has such a big collection!
The lady in reception was very rude and provided extremely poor service, she was not willing to help at all. I was referred to willow court by the Norfolk visitor information centre, but the woman on the phone was undeniably enough to deter me from staying there.
We got a good service. The room was clean and the kitchen area has a curious decoration as the antiques shop does, the garden was nice too. Convenient locations to interesting points such as Mount Field National Park.
Never mind the Insane asylum is watching over you, this place is the best (and be sure to book in advance for the "morgue")! right in town, walking distance to shops affordable and well appointed for the crazy in you
