This was my 2nd visit to Willow Court motel. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff were polite. Check in is at the Antiques Shop just opposite (sign on front door says this too.) The hotel is set in an interesting historic place and piece of Tasmanian history. It is an interesting base to explore some of the history, not too far from other places of interest like Mt Field National Park and about half an hour from Hobart. I would definately stay here again.

This accommodation which is called budget is great value for money. Room is very spacious, clean, comfortable and Penny couldn't be more helpful. She opened up the laundry for me after it had been closed. The surrounds are very interesting. Would be especially good for families.

The place looked good and well priced but the rooms are ordinary, the kitchens are not really to a food standard and the bathrooms and toilets I just won't go there. The outdoor seating areas could do with a groundsman as they are a foot deep in composting leaf litter. As for the management you only see them when they want your money or want you to leave and the female manager doesn't even talk to or acknowledge you it's as if you are to far beneath her to even be noticed. A course in basic people skills and etiquette would go a long way for her demeanour, as if she needs to tell you something she gets one of the long term boarders to tell you then disappears when you would like to see her. There is no coffee shop/restaurant, nor wifi/computer room the only "good things" are Woolworths and the city centre are very close by.

The motel room and the bathroom were big with high ceilings. Clean and furnished with antique/vintage furniture and art which lifted it out of motel style. Bed linen was quality and there was an effective heater on the ceiling.
There is a large communal kitchen available.
It was difficult to contact the owner on check in, hopefully this will improve as the Antique shop closes at 4PM. Once contact was made the owner was very helpful.
The nightly tariff was very reasonable given the standard of accommodation.

We went to Willow Court Motel not becasue we want to stay there. It was the antique cars and trucks that attracted us to spend hours there. Even the cars and trucks are not well kept, it will be hard to find another place that has such a big collection!

Interesting surrounds with antique shops and nice cafe with a pretty garden. Room had stained sheets and bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was awful! Dirty and terrible shower that sprayed all over the place. This place has huge potential if only given some basic maintenance and TLC.

Stayed in one of the rooms that had a private bathroom. The rooms were quite large and cleaniness of bothe bedroom and bathroom was average. The beds were quite comfortable. Television was very small. Staff were friendly when you could find them. Overall would suit a one night stay.

The experience was off from the start due to the poor service at book in.We eventually found some one to book us in and he told us to follow him to the antique shop where the owner was. The owner chose to ignore us and left it to the young lad to do his best.he had no experience in customer service but we stuggled through and went to our room.
The room was o.k but when we went to inspect the communal cooking/eating area my wife said the condition of this area was digusting.
Food scraps in the micro wave, left over grease in the frying pan and 10mm of crumbs in the toaster.

Night one and two our sleep was disturbed by local hoons as insulation from street noise was non existent.

We had to roll up a spare blanket and put it against the door to keep a serious draught out.

Overall we were dissapointed with our stay in New Norfolk and would not bother again.
