This is a thoughtfully run Bed and Breakfast. Four of us stayed in early March. An enthusiastic welcome from the owner in the wood heated entry set the tone. Home made biscuits, included in the tea and coffee room adjacent to the upstairs verandah, were welcome on arrival. There are some in the downstairs lounge to accompany the compliementary port...

Lisa and staff looked after us exceptionally well during our recent 2 night stay at Stanton. The beautiful old house is sensitively decorated and the grounds provide a relaxing backdrop for a restful break. Breakfast and dinner were sumptuous and in context with the location. We enjoyed our stay very much.

When arriving at Stanton Bed & Breakfast we were already impressed by the old building with porch looking out over the surrounding meadows and hills. We were a little bit earlier then expected but we got a very warm welcome. The fireplace was immediately lid and we got a lovely hot cup of coffee while waiting. The rest of our...
