The new owner, Deb, made our visit to Port Arthur memorable. She was full of advice and personalised help with everything from honest local restaurant recommendations to knowledge of the taxi driver's movements to even preparing a one-off, not-on-the-menu, salad for the vegetarian in our group. Deb has plenty of experience in hospitality and she 'tells it like it is',...

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was clean and comfortable. Accommodation was simple but contained everything we needed for our stay. Air conditioning and heating provided. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Port Arthur Historic Site.

The location was near to the Port Arthur historical site so convenient to get to. Although the wifi was not so easy to connect, the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped to have breakfast within the apt.

WIFI - the bane of everyone life down here. The current availability is totally inadequate. Internet is expected and while the provision of that is outside our control as there is inadequate internet to everyone in Port Arthur, we at Port Arthur Villas are working to change this. We have a solution that was supposed to be installed before Christmas,...

This is a lovely place. Our room was immaculately clean and well appointed. The gardens are beautiful and provide a scenic place to enjoy the sunset. The location is perfect because the back gate to the historic site is just a few minutes’ walk down the road. This place gets all the little details right and the owner Wally is...

Thanks for the effort on replying. While we have just taken over this award winning establishment, we know we have a number of challenges that we have to overcome in the next few weeks and we look forward to the start of an $8 million redevelopment of this location in 2017. Have a terrific Christmas to you and your family.

Hey, if you want a really mouldy shower and a grotty toilet... combined with attitude from reception and a dispute over Amex. Book this place. The shower looked like it had not seen a cleaner for a long time. The room was dusty. The bed linen was dusty. The tables and lamps were dusty. The one glass that we used...

Thanks for your comments on your stay with us. While we are always disappointed in those rare occasions when visitors to our location are disappointed, I can agree with some of your comments. Over the past 5 weeks since we have purchased this award winning location, we have worked hard to ensure all the systems and safety backups were in...

We stayed here before and after walking The 3 Capes Track. We stayed with our 2 adult children in a 2 bedroom unit. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The gardens are gorgeous. The property also supplies a key to a back gate into the Port Arthur Historical Site which is only a few minutes walk down the...

Thanks for your kind words on your stay with us. We have just taken over this award winning establishment and have some great plans when we start the $8 million redevelopment in 2017. But the garden will remain as well as the high level of service. Thanks again. Have a terrific Christmas to you and your family.

We stayed in the two bedroom villa and found it very clean and a good size with all amenities needed for a self catering stay. It was in a very handy location close to Port Arthur historic site. I would stay here again.

this facility has just changed hands and the new owner has dreams. The room was comfortable with good basic self catering facilities. The owner was helpful about how to get around and get the most from our visit including rear access to the Historic site

The rooms are spacious and clean. Includes stocked kitchen. Staff very helpful. Location walking distance from historic site. New owners took over day we left. They plan many more units, and have the experience to carry it off. Laundry room. Only significant flaw is ver weak wifi.

Thanks Holly - yest that opening day was very hectic. The biggest disappointment for us is the WIFI - this whole area is just terrible - however I have just ordered a new 4GX system and am in discussions with a NBN solution, so should be better in the future. We just expect good internet now - we will make...

We only stayed overnight at the Villas - but it was so comfortable we could easily have stayed a couple of days. It was lovely and clean, had a comfortable bed and was very well resourced. Great proximity to Port Arthur historic site. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again and definitely recommend.
