This is an excellent Mom & Pop to stay at when going to Old Man Cave. 15 to 20 minute drive to the State Park. The rates are very reasonable. This is a no frills motel, butitis very clean and friendly. The town of Logan is also very clean and friendly. There are multiple places to eat within a few...

We made reservations after striking out when looking for a place in Athens. We stayed 2 nights. I was apprehensive so was not expecting much. I to say I was pleasantly surprised. It exceeded my expectations which were based on the price. It was clean, and comfortable with a friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again. This time as...

Scheduled to stay but glad somethng came up and didnt for full refund. Block concrete walls, bed, sink, toilet, tv, towels, nothing else. Not even liner for g-can, asked for one got a dollar general sack. No phones, no wifi. Mildew smell. Nice town.Cheapest place in area though! Do take CC's!

Cheap, nice old lady that runs it, and if you're military it'll remind you of the barracks. It was slightly nostalgic for me. Everyone was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Where else can you get a room for $50? I'd definitely return

You don't expect a tablecloth at McD's and I didn't expect WiFi at this basic unpretentious motel. I liked the concrete block walls because it deadened the sound and made it the quietest place I've stayed. The walls looked newly painted in bright bold colors. The shower nozzle operated smoothly unlike some of the fancy ones at expensive hotels. Plenty...

For those who gave it anything more than 1 star, they must be cave dwellers. Painted over mold in the bathroom by the bathtub; cobwebs in most corners; in a non smoking room one of the comforters had a burn hole in it; the TV is maybe a 19", in the far corner; no telephone? really?; no clock--period; hallway carpet...

The place was clean. The lady who runs it is very pleasant. Even read us the paper of events going on and helped us with mom and pop type restaurants. Was very easy to get on and off of the highway. Not like some of the exits that were totally backed up. No frills but the water was hot. The...

This is a very nice mom and pop hotel. They even have the old fashion keys to your room. The rooms are small dorm like rooms. We stayed here for parents weekend at Ohio University and couldn't get a room closer to Athens then this. The hallway smelled of smoked but our room didn't. My only complaint was that the...

The price was great, but the room was horrible. It was musty smelling, the AC was loaded with dust, the ceiling tiles were stained, the carpet was worn and looked dirty, and the lighting was poor. The bathroom was tiny. Not sure why we even stayed other than we were tired and it was late. I think I would have...

From the outside, the building looks in good repair, although the parking lot and crab grass are uninviting. Motel is situated between a Sheriffs office and City PD. The room walls are cinder block painted an institutional yellow. Some panelling. The furniture and fixtures are retro, original motel furniture from who knows when. 19" tube TV, worked good. The mattresses...
