Pros - Location - it was central to all of the hiking areas and the town of Logan Quiet & Private - there are four cabins all located on the same drive but you don't realize it due to the layout and the fact you are in the woods. We never heard any of our neighbors. Very clean - the...

This was a very nice place to stay. We wanted a quiet experience and it was extremely quiet. The weather was hot and the cabin was cool. It was very clean and stocked well before we arrived. The home made cookies upon arrival was a nice surprise. Wifi was spotty for most of the stay and phone service was very...

We have been to Hocking 3 or 4 times but this was our first stay at Cabins in the Pines and it was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights in the Shawnee Cabin, it was clean, cozy, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. They even left an anniversary card and sweets for us. How thoughtful is that? The...

We have stayed there multiple times and the Cherokee is our favorite. Very cozy and private. Everything you need for a great stay. We also love the woods and porch hot tubs - especially in the cooler weather. On this stay a large doe ran by us right before sunset. Beautiful! Very clean cabins with extra touches (including fresh baked...

Just finished our weekend stay at the Chickasaw Cabin at Cabins in the Pines. The location is awesome. Fifteen minutes from Lake Logan and the Walmart Supercenter one way and 15 minutes to Old Man's Cave the other way. Super quiet property. Excellent little fishing hole down by the entrance. Full of nice slab sized White Crappie, little Small Mouths...

Very disappointed. We went there for our 19th wedding anniversary. We wanted a fireplace and a hot tub. The fireplace did not work. We called and left a message about the fireplace within 30 minutes of our arrival. We also put a note on the clipboard that they picked up the next morning. We also called again!! Not even a...

Delightful! We totally enjoyed our stay in the Shawnee cabin. It was very clean and homey. The hot tub on the deck was great especially after a long day hiking! Staff was very attentive and friendly. A great getaway!

My wife and I stayed at the Navajo cabin - the newest one - and absolutely loved it. There is a two night minimum, but for an extra $20 (on top of the $130 price) they will let you stay for only one night. It was absolutely great. Very clean, and very homely, with ALL the amenities. You really couldn't...

Significantly overpriced versus comparable cabins....Heating is Great on Main floor, but bottom floor is 10-15 degrees colder so those sleeping downstairs should bring extra blankets, the hot tub is not new as claimed on the web site and when it works, it is of much lesser quality than other cabins in the area. Our hottub did not even work on...

My husband and I were there 10.15 - 10.18.12. It was one of the best vacation we have ever had. Weather was perfect for the fall color and for hiking during the day and then coming back to the cabin and relaxing. Very comfortable. We were there during the week and it was not very crowded at all. There are...

“Navajo has a king bed upstairs, and two futons on the first floor. There is only one bathroom, but three couples could comfortably sleep there.”
