Stayed at white oak, says it has a.c. but really just had a window a.c. from 15 years ago. 2 floors, cant get to the lower level unless you go outside and enter that way. Place sleeps 8 but has a 2 person hot tub. Grill was broken and gross. Didn't have a handle to lift grill so we used... More

We stayed at Buck Run which is a nicely decorated 3 bedroom modular. I arrived before my friends & glad I got there during the daylight hours. The driveway is very steep, graveled & somewhat eroded. I think this is pretty typical for the area but it's nice for people know ahead of time. There are 4 units in the... More

My husband and I just stayed two nights in the Frontier Cabin at Acorn Acres. Reserving the cabin was quick and easy, and the owner was very friendly and answered all our questions promptly. The cabin sits up a gravel lane in a quiet wooded setting. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and has everything you need for a... More

the frontier cabin was the perfect getaway for my 4 legged best friend and I. We stayed during a snow storm and it was amazing. The cabin is cozy and very comfortable. Loved the den alcove. The loft bedroom was very nice even though we opted to camp out on the big rug in front of the fireplace. I don't... More

The cabin was beautiful, smelled wonderful, had everything you need and was very cozy. There were minor things that could have been improved & cleaning during our getaway wasnt something we wanted to do but as long as you keep In mind that your staying in the WOODS not a 5 star hotel and you're okay with cleaning during your... My husband and I and our dog booked the Whitetail Run Cabin this past weekend. We were pleasantly surprised! I was a little reserved when the rental said "modular", however, I wouldn't stay anywhere else! If you like all the amentities of home and then some, this is the place for you. It looked like a cabin as it was... More

We booked a weekend at the Frontier Cabin for a short getaway from the city over Easter/Passover weekend. We were very impressed with the cabin; photos on the lodging website do not do it justice! We spent our weekend hiking, watching movies and relaxing on the porch with tea, coffee, and some good reads. Had such a wonderful and relaxing... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend with our dog for a christmas getaway. We had a blast! We stayed in the frontier cabin which is a cute cozy log cabin. It is a great quiet location in the woods but still close to Logan shopping and dining. Other reviews mentioned cleanliness- we found the cabin to be... More

We just stayed in the Frontier Cabin for 3 nights. Cute cabin but it needs lots of care. Gus the mouse left his droppings on the microwave. The frontroom carpet needed vaccumed. There is a flat screen tv in frontroom that is useless because you cannot get any channels. Dvd's are provided but no player in frontroom. It is upstairs... More
