Chateau Juvigny is a stunning historic building set in a large park and opposite a beautiful lake. It offers b+b and self catering accommodation in the wings of the chateau, with the central building providing the breakfast room and lounges. Brigitte, the owner could not be more helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location is great,...

I was planning a father-son trip through champagne country and quickly concluded my options were mediocre AirBNB rooms or a generic hotel chain in Reims - all for about the same price. And then I found this treasure. Built in 1702 and still owned by the same family, this chateau is a gem. Each room has its own character and...

We hired the self-catering Pavillon from the Fournis' who occupy the left hand part of the chateau, adjacent to the bed and breakfast business and we were very content with the size of rooms, quality and range of equipment and services; we wanted for nothing. It is smart, cosy and very peaceful. And ideally located for out cycle forays into...

This was our second stay at the Château de Juvigny. Three years ago, we spent two night there to celebrate my spouse's 50th birthday. Now, it was on our way to a few champagne producers that we decided to stay a couple of nights. Lovely rooms, a very warm welcome, even by Endy (the dog), a good breakfast and possibilities...

We ended our stay in France with the last night at this wonderful château. It is a real gem in terms of architecture and has a feeling of faded glory. Our suite for our family of four consisted of two lovely bedrooms, one overlooking the moat and lake. Absolutely stunning master bedroom which felt like sleeping in a palace. The bed...

We booked by email in April a double room for one night on 17th July as our last stop in France before returning home to UK. Written confirmation was received identifying the room we would be given, price and stating that the owners were looking forward to seeing us. When I sent a further email, three days before our arrival...

Stunning piece of architectural history and eclectic styling which a group of 6 of us were privileged to share for a few nights and which proved the perfect base location to visit the Champagne region. We were hoping for historic french charm and there's plenty of that to spare!! The hosts and the B&B service couldn't have been more congenial...

This place has something very special. There is no commercial angle, no room service or tariffed laundry. It does not exude fresh paint and the expensive latest fittings. What it does offer is something arguably more - a sense that, just for one day, this old watercolour chateau is yours. The owner, Brigitte, and her husband merely wanted us to...

If you are anywhere in Champagne you have to stay at this charming chateau. My husband has stayed here twice before and was keen to show me. The chateau is Very traditional, and what it lacks in being modern it really does make up with the service provided by the lovely Lady. She is back in full form and gave...

We arrived at 5.45 pm on 30 October on our way back to Calais but were clearly not expected despite having had email confirmation from the Chateau that our booking had been accepted. We were eventually met by the sister of the owner who said that her sister's husband had died late summer and that her owner was now seriously...

“Rooms Natalie, Amelie face north so therefore cooler in hot weather. Very peaceful. The Suites & Chambre Lac face south so are brighter but probably hear more from the central courtyard.”

“We stayed in Nathalie which was very pretty and perfectly sized for a couple. Our friend was in Amelie which is decked out in pink french toile - I was slightly jealous but our bathroom was bigger. The room in-between, Cecile, is the pick for families with a huge bathroom and room for a cot.”
