Detailed Reviews
It's a clean and cossy hotel. The personal is gentil. Their attention on detail and communication make me give 5 stars.
I strongly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.
Small city with a beautifull landscape. You find few restaurants in the area and the city center is at 10 minite walk.

Happens rarely, but everything over here was good. The extremely friendly receptionist, the lady at the breakfast all very service minded.
The room we had was exactly what could be expected, and the bathroom very practical.
Lastly, good parking with free electricity!

This hotel is honestly one of the best I've ever been in for this range of prices. Not only the rooms have a lot a space and are very clean, but also the people working over there are truly charming, always ready to help, to guide you, to make you feel almost at home. If you go there, The Saint Daniel hotel is a place I definitely recommend.

It’s just a bit wierd and Peruwelz is tired. Receptionist friendly and breakfast nice (for 15 euro) but other than that felt a bit Prisoner cell block H and the room was very dusty and furniture somewhat outdated. On the upside parking worked well.

Because we couldn't find any vacancies in Mons on a Saturday night in October, we booked two rooms at Hôtel Saint Daniel in Pérulwez, about half way between the Belgian towns of Mons and Tournai. A happy coincidence, as it turned out, because it allowed us not only to combine a visit of both towns in one week-end, but also to discover Pérulwez and its surroundings, which have a lot to offer, ranging from architectural sights, lovely walks in the woods and good food and beer.
The hotel is not far from the railway station and the city centre and is easily accessible by car. We parked ours in the hotel parking lot, which is only accessible with a room key and costs 8€ a night.
Hôtel Saint Daniel is a small modern hotel with a good price/quality balance. Both our rooms (ground floor and first floor) were spacious and quiet. Room 11 is particularly big and has a separate toilet next to the bathroom. The bathrooms with walk-in showers were a good size but we would have liked some extra water pressure for our morning shower.
Breakfast offered a good choice. We particularly appreciated the choice of egg preparations made to order and the mini chocolate éclairs. On the down side, the industrial-type bread was a real disappointment.
Apart from a minor glitch, check-in and chech-out were swift and very friendly. Upon returning from breakfast at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning we were unable to re-enter our room with our key card. It turned out they had been blocked by a computer system unfamiliar with the switch to winter time. For a hotel with less than 20 rooms, such overly strict enforcement of check-out times seems a bit our of order.

Very nicely presented hotel situated in a quiet area of the town. Our room was immaculately presented with smart contemporary decor. The hotel has a bar and a courtyard style external seating area where we enjoyed a drink or two before heading out for a meal at one of the local restaurants. The town centre is five minute walk with a good selection of places to eat. Plenty of choice for breakfast with a very helpful member of staff on hand to individually prepare freshly cooked bacon and eggs, waffles, pancakes etc. We found the staff to be very pleasant and attentive. As a motorcycle group there was a safe and highly secure flat gated parking area. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Hidden away in a quiet road not far from the town centre, this hotel is very pleasant. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful when booking restaurants. Found we had been upgraded to a superior room on arrival. Very spacious, as was the bathroom. Shower leaked profusely but apart from that no problems, Would definitely stay here again.

Peruwelz is a little bit off the beaten track but it is well worthwhile to visit just to stay at the St Daniel. Very welcoming and comfortable location in a quiet town. Reception was fast, easy and friendly, room was very modern and comfortable. Breakfast had good choices and options. On-street parking but that was not a problem.

Converted from an old grain wholesaler store this hotel is completely modern and new inside. It nestles in a side street in the rather uninteresting town of Péruwelz. The staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean. Facilities for breakfast were a bit spartan we thought, but there is a very convenient and comfortable courtyard area where you can sit out.
