We love this property. Beautiful native American themed decor. The owners are friendly and knowledgable about the area and nearby activities. Love the secluded wooded scenery. This lodge is tucked away in paradise and they sometimes offer live music events at their barn.

Okay, due to excessive recent rain, and unseasonably cool temp, we didn't take advantage of the really nice pool. This place was very nice and the bed is super comfortable. The decor is very meticulous and fits well in the not out of the way but still away from the hustle and bustle of town very clean accommodation. Just outside of... More

We spent this past Saturday night there, and had a great time. It was a last minute birthday getaway, and we loved it. Quiet, peaceful, and clean. Plus, the breakfast was great! More than we could eat. Fresh fruit, blueberry scones, yougurt, juices, french toast, bacon, sausage, etc. We were in the detached Prairie Moon suite. The new owners are... More

We just completed our second stay at Dancing Deer Lodge (see our full review here from June 2012) at its Prairie Moon Cottage and wanted to offer an update. In three simple words, IT'S STILL GREAT! Far from noting any wear and tear, we appreciated what appeared to be wonderfully new sheets and fresh, ultra-soft towels and washcloths. And, if... More

Dealing with airports, TSA, taxis, and hotels didn't appeal to us for our honeymoon. We wanted to relax and give our attention to each other. So we decided to hide out in our own back yard at The Dancing Deer Lodge. Somewhere between the luxurious robes, the in-room Jacuzzi, or the overstuffed king-size bed, we found exactly what we needed:... More

It was such a delightful experience to have you and your bride as our guests. The happiness that you both shared with each other and us brought a warmth to our inn. We were more than happy to prepare gluten-free dishes for your wife. Asking guests in advance if they have any dietary restrictions when they reserve a suite is... More

Well, I made our reservations online. Received an email confirmation and a handwritten reservation letter via post from the owners and operators. I knew right there that I had made a good decision to B&B in Stillwater. My wife and I ran late from Broken Arrow. We left the kiddos with MeMo and got to the lodge around 10. The... More

We stayed at Dancing Deer last weekend in the Prarie Moon Cottage. Doug and Carlene are fantastic hosts and their attention to every detail is evident throughout. Carlene even made a bigger breakfast on Sunday morning so our OSU student could come over and eat with us. At no extra charge! Rates go up for football weekends, but that is... More

My husband planned a surprise getaway for us and booked us at Dancing Deer Lodge. Doug and Carlene, the hosts, were very accommodating and especially concerned about my egg allergy. They planned our breakfast very carefully around that. The room was very quiet, and we sat on the patio for several hours. While we were talking, a deer approached and... More

We prefer B&B's where the guests can't hear each other in their living areas. Dancing Deer delivers. We prefer B&B's with tasteful decor and art. Dancing Deer delivers. We prefer access to a hot tub or pool. Dancing Deer delivers on both counts. We prefer a hot tub, great in-room entertainment options, tasty breakfasts, effective heating and a.c., comfortable beds,... More
