My husband and I recently stayed at Rivers Edge for the first time. We stayed 3 nights in the Mountain Escape cabin. It definitely exceeded our expectation. We were amazed at how well stocked the kitchen is. We loved the indoor wood fireplace and the outdoor fire pit. On the back patio is a nice grill which we used 2...

We first visited Rivers Edge about six years ago and returned last week to the Mountain Escape cabin. This cabin is obviously kept in first-class shape - clean, well equipped with everything we needed. Secluded, private, and very quiet. This cabin at Rivers Edge may be our new favorite.

My husband, son, and I recently stayed 4 nights in the Pine Summit cabin. We cannot say enough great things about the cabin, the area, or our stay. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. It was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots & pans, kitchen staples, board games, and linens. It was also impeccably clean. The view from the...

My husband and I wanted to book a cabin for several days for a nice getaway from reality. This is definitely the place for it! It was our first cabin stay and we enjoyed every bit of it. The Homestead cabin is perfect for a couple. I loved the fact that all you need to bring is food. The cabin...

If you want to get away from civilization (or the lack thereof) this is the place because you have no choice. Down Goats Head dirt road just follow the signs. Get there past five and you can pick your key up outside the office. We rented the Windsong Cabin. What a beautiful view of the mountains and the Mountain Fork...

This is our second trip up to rivers edge and it was even more magical than the first trip. Located in a charming and secluded part of the mountains, this retreat was a perfect place for our pre-honeymoon. Our cabin was top notch. Just stunning and homey on the inside. Also came with the jacuzzi tub overlooking the river. The...

The staff is amazing. The cabins are so well built and designed. We've stayed in both the Homestead cabin and the River Ridge cabin. The River Ridge cabin has amazing views and the Homestead is in a perfect spot for families. Lots of room to run around and explore and close to the river. This is such a pretty piece...

My husband and I paid a quick visit to River's Edge on valentine's weekend. It was amazing and more than we could have ever dreamed. The cabin was wonderfully clean, serene, and had a great view of the river. We arrived later than we planned but the owners' were patient, helpful, and made sure we were granted access late into...

What an amazing place! We stayed in the Chesapeake Cottage and it was stunning! The location was beautiful - on a little bluff overlooking the river, not a neighbor in sight! The house was outstanding. It was a wonderfully comfortable, impeccably clean and well-stocked cottage. We brought a cooler full of food and wine and just relaxed! It is pretty...

My husband and I stayed at the Chesapeake Cottage from Feb 1-4 and it exceeded our expectations. The cottage itself is impeccable - modern decor with a very homey feel. We loved that it had so many windows to take in the beautiful scenery. When we arrived at the cottage, Peter (their dog) was on the front porch waiting to...

“Bear cottage sits on an incline/hill and there are alot of steps up to it so please consider another cottage if you have a physical challenge that prevents you from making that climb. Also, the canoe/river access point is across from this cabin so you may see people coming/going during the day.”

“The nearest grocery store is very far away so make sure you bring all the food you need. Print the map from the website before heading out. You will probably need it when you get close. It's mostly gravel road once you get to Watson, OK.”
