Stayed for AOL Conference and have reservations for OLC Conference. I love staying here where functions are. Mall close too in case I need retail therapy! Bring a swim suit too for hot tube. Much needed after sitting through classes.

Glad you had a great conference and took some "you" time as well. I really appreciate the review on Trip Advisor. Come back soon! The hot tub is waiting for you.

Valley River Inn is basically a nice hotel that somehow fails to meet the mark. Located at the end of a small shopping center, it compensates for the dismaying approach with a charming view over the river opening onto pretty walkways and an enclosed complex turning away from the mall. This is fine if you only need to stay in...

Thank you for sharing the details of your recent stay. I take this to heart and will certainly address with my team. Improvement is what we strive for and you mentioned some great points that we should have nailed. My apology and I do hope you give us another chance.

Pet fee was expensive, $40 for one night. Room was big and spacious but the bed was too firm, so we didn't sleep well. Staff was friendly. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, but most are closed by 10pm. I also asked for a military discount, which they do, but I was informed that it couldn't be applied since I...

My son and I took advantage of a wonderful evening walk along the river for a wonderful evening with skaters, runners, bikers and walkers. And that was after a terrific Bloody Mary in the bar. We had wonderful food, too.

We go to SweetWaters Restaurant at Valley River Inn most Saturday mornings for their breakfast buffet. There is a good selection of food, but it's not overwhelming and it is tasty. But more important to us is the service. We are typically helped by Lisa D. and Ryan; they keep a close eye on our coffee cups and either stop...

The hotel itself is in an awesome business park near a mall and some well known chain restaurants. It sits alongside the McKenzie River and a nice trail. It's pet friendly. The facility itself needs some help. The furnishings appear to be rather new but doors, trimwork etc... are dated. My sliding glass door out to the patio along the...

Staff was very friendly and out going. This carried over to all the guest encountered in the hall. Everybody acknowledged each other (staff and guests)... all with a smile and a greeting. Can't give it a five rating because the room had its issues (none that was too critical, just an inconvenience)...temperature control could have been better, movie channel was...

We stayed here on the way up to Washington State and on the way home. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had our cat with us, so I appreciate the hotel's pet policy. Staff was friendly. Food in the restaurant was good.

This hotel is the one non-Marriott stop I am always eager to make. The lobby with its alluring fireplace and SweetWaters lounge/restaurant alone make staying here worth it. The rooms have been renovated fairly recently and are much improved with new carpeting/beds/bathroom vanity. The riverside location also gives it a certain charm. There is still a slightly dated feel overall...
