I traveled up to Linlcon City for work and stayed at the Salishan Resort. The property is gorgeous. The rooms were quite and very cozy. I happened to be there on a Friday night where they had live music playing at the bar. I plan on making a trip their again soon for pleasure rather than business!

My wife and I just recently stayed over the weekend and had an absolutely fantastic time. We spent most of the day saturday in the spa and it was truly perfection. Both my wife and I stayed for five hours and simply didn't want to leave. Being a fourth time stay for me and 2nd time stay for my wife,...

My wife and I were meeting family in Lincoln City over Christmas and decided to go down a night early and stayed at Salishan. This was our first time staying and I must say this place is fantastic! Rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. The private porch and gas fire place were a nice touch! We did room service...

Joined a few other good friends for NYE here. The Resort itself is a golf course/resort. It is along the golf course, and spread out, but walking distance to the main building. We arrived and went up to our room and the door lock was dead so got reassigned to a King room further up the hill. One of the...

Dear lawRN23, As a new addition to the Salishan team myself I understand some of your concerns for signage and am working on a few options for improvement. I appreciate your other feedback and we will speak about these as a team and see what options we can unearth. Thank you for your stay and this review...I look forward to...

The room itself was well maintained, comfortable and pleasant (albeit no view), and the grounds are very nice, but I couldn't get over the feeling that this place might be edging toward extinction. All of the shops are gone and the windows are papered-over. The sport-courts are still well maintained and were fun, but the facility is not at all...

Dear Constance S, While all of our rooms have a view of the forest, the golf course, or the Siletz Bay and if staying with us you don't like the view, please do et us know so we can provide other options. As for our retail shops, during the ownership change many of the shops did not have the option...

We had a nice stay, but I can't say that Salishan offers a value in any way. Everything was adequate, nothing felt spectacular or special considering the price, nothing about our stay would compel me pick Salishan first when staying at the coast again. We stayed in a third floor walk-up with an ocean view, which is really a Highway...

Dear SteveG-PDX, Thank you for your review and stay. I am disappointed that you felt our recent renovation, including many nice pieces of furniture and all brand new decks was less than what you expected. Our website clearly shows what most rooms look like and I can assure you it is quality furnishing; but I understand we can't match everyone's...

What a great, relaxing weekend at Salishan. Our room was spacious, beautiful, and very clean. The bed was oh-so comfortable! Breakfast buffet was fabulous ... cheese, cured meat trays ... smoked salmon ... just above & beyond typical breakfast buffet fare. Dinner at Gray's was equally exceptional & the service was excellent. All staff interactions were friendly and very helpful....

My wife and I have spent Thanksgiving at Salishan for each of the past 21 years. I personally have been visiting the resort since 1977. While, the Salishan of yesteryear was and will always be the benchmark of superior customer service and accommodations, the current iteration of this Lincoln City landmark is much improved since its newest proprietors took possession...

Dear Ms218, Thank you for your review and we are all happy to read you enjoyed your stay with us. While we do have a small shopping/retail option next to the front desk, we still do have a larger shopping option available in our golf pro-shop. Also, we are actively engaged to fill the remaining shops in our shopping center...

This is a lovely resort. It's a few miles south of Lincoln City, with a footpath access to a really private beach. We walked for about 4 hours and saw only 2 surfers and a lot of sea lions. Our room was large, and the pictures on the website are accurate. We came to celebrate our 35th anniversary, as part...

Very nice staff at check-in. Helpful.to get best rates and gave us fantastic room. The room (436) was huge, with very high ceilings and modern furnishings. Was very, very pleased with the room. Had a forest and bay view with a balcony but due to cold and rain, couldn't enjoy it. Only drawback was no elevator (bad knee!). Restaurant food...
