Stayed here for one night in September of 2016. We had spent the day in Portland with the intention of driving back home to Bend that evening. Loved this hotel as it was quite and close to the max station. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and easy to get to. We took the Max into Portland for the day. It was only 2 blocks from the hotel. Loved all the flowers.

Decent, clean, comfortable, quiet, cheaper than Downtown Portland, and only a few blocks from the light rail. At the end of the line so it did take a good 40 min to get there from the airport. Also close to an Enterprise Rent A Car if you decide to get a car to go to Multnomah Falls which is only...

The good: The gentleman at the desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The Pony Soldier was a very comfortable clean hotel. Our visit had two issues. One was resolved. The other is a continued negative issue voiced in multiple reviews through different services. We had a rare visit to the area when it was 100 degrees. The air conditioner in our first room did not function correctly. When called the manager came...
