The cabins are cute and comfortable, circled around a nice friendly common grassy area with tables, chairs and a bench swing. Restaurant on site with good food, good sized portions is very convenient. Also very close to walk to other restaurants, stores, river. My son accidentally left is his very special stuffed animal behind and when we called to ask...

We waited 45 minutes to get our full order. They also screwed up the order. I would not go there again. The food was not that bad, but it was not worth the wait. Save your money and head back into Hood River. You will probably get to eat sooner. We did not see much of the waitresses.

My family is on a road trip and we ended up cutting through Maupin. It was getting late, we were starving, and there was literally nothing else around! We ate dinner at the cafe, which is darling and serves excellent food. We noticed the tiny cabins and ended up staying in the largest one for the night. An excellent price...

Recently stayed at the Oasis Resort and found it to be average at best. The resort consists of a series of small cabins in various states of repair. It was relatively clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no WIFI, or TV. Since we were just there to sleep it was adequate. Additionally, it is off season in the...

This is NOT the Ritz, but a collection of old cabins that survive on the rough rafting groups of the summer. Read the other reviews with that in mind - and that the town has VERY limited places to stay. As long as you don't expect more this can be a fun place to be. We manage to book a...

The Oasis is a roof over your head and a bathroom. If you expect anything more--you'll be disappointed. It's old, in poor shape, and stays in business because the summer rafting crowd is very young and cares more about price than accommodations. that, combined with very limited camping opportunities in the immediate area.

So, when we arrived to the 'Resort' we found our cabin. I knew this was going to be just a bit better than packing our tent and sleeping bags, but this was a bit disappointing. The description stated that this 'Interior is a bit rough', they were not kidding! The exterior had a screen door hanging on one hinge, the...

We stayed at the Oasis before our rafting trip. The town is very small and if you need wireless service, you won't get a call signal unless you have Verizon. I booked the room for two nights but chose to stay only one. The cabin was in the 1970's era and nothing was updated since. The room was old, moldy,...

These cabins provide privacy and charm all their own. We are a family of four and thanks to the fair pricing, we rented two cabins; one for the adults with a queen bed and shower, and one for the kids with two twin beds, and mini kitchen, and no bathroom. This served our purpose just fine and the kids enjoyed...

The Oasis is exactly what we were looking for: a clean, safe place to sleep before our white water rafting trip on the Deschutes. Dinner and Breakfast was delicious as well.

“Look at the website in advance and understand the differences in the rooms. They are NOT all the same. Book EARLY as the entire town can be full all summer - this is especially true if you want to do a group function.”

“Do not book what they call the 'Sleeper Cabin' unless you like living in a run-down two room cabin and sleeping in bunk beds.”
of 5 bubbles Sandilo, 30 Jul 2014 | Read review
“The amenities are a bit bare bones, just soap and shampoo. You may want to bring your own extra pillows. If you opt for a cabin without a bathroom, be aware that the community bathrooms are single stall for the ladies and no showers.”
