My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday. We like to be able to walk everywhere when we stay in places, if possible. This B&B is close to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, everything. It was so convenient! The B&B itself: Clean and welcoming. When we walked in, it smelled like cookies - and who doesn't love that?? In...

We booked this B and B based on the great ratings on Tripadvisor, but we were a little disappointed. Yes, the owners are kind an the welcome snacks were great, but... 1- the house is NOT an original Victorian home. It was built less than 20 years ago. It could use definitely some deep cleaning (black handprints all over the...

Lovely B&B with fabulous hosts. My husband and I stayed in the Sir Charles room and, while we were content with our accommodations, we regretted not reserving the slightly larger Lady Catherine room. We're both fairly tall and the Charles, in our opinion, had perhaps a little too much furniture and not quite enough space. If we'd planned to stay...

We stayed at the Grand Victorian for one night during our trip up the west coast. We arrived a liitle early but Eileen already had our room ready. We were greeted with a big smile and a delicious appetizer. We had booked the Sir Charles room, which is a small room with a shared bathroom. The room was very cozy...

An excellent stay in the suite on the third floor of this wonderful B&B. Eileen and Terry gracious hosts! A fantastic breakfast was provided and was so nice to eat home cooked food! The room was huge with an incredible view of the ocean one block away. Right in the heart of historic Nye Beach. Wish we stayed longer!!!! Loved...

The Grand Victorian is a perfect choice for B&B lovers. The decor is as classic Victorian as it gets, and the old three story house, so charming with unique finishes upon every turn. Terry welcomed us with warmth and delicious appetizers, and proceeded to give us an excellent dining recommendation for the freshest local seafood. Local Ocean in Newport Bay...

Eileen was a wonderful hostess! She made us great breakfasts, served us very kindly & cheerfully. The cottage was happily private allowing us to feel like it was our home away from home. Laundry use was great, allowing us to pack light. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Quiet, cozy and comfortable. We hope to stay there again! This was...

Eileen & Terry Obteshka are lovely people that welcome you & make you feel like you're right at home. An "affordable B&B" is almost...

My wife and I came to Newport from Washington, DC. She's a native Oregonian, and her family was renting a house 2 miles away from the Grand Victorian. Eileen and Terry were the PERFECT hosts!!! From the moment we entered, and were greeted by Eileen, we had a really good feeling. They have a totally beautiful green Aga stove, which...

We stayed here in the Victoria Suite for 2 nights and it was one of the best B&B's we've ever stayed at. Eileen and Terry are warm and welcoming and easy to converse with. The suite was lovely and provided everything we wanted. Eileen's breakfasts and evening treats are absolutely delicious and loved the shrimp cocktail on arrival. Best breakfasts...

“The Sir Charles room seemed a little cramped and over-filled for two tall adults (5'9" and 6'4"). If we ever return to the Grand Victorian, we'll reserve the larger Lady Catherine room or perhaps the Victoria suite.”
