This hotel is a one of a kind gem, and I absolutely love it. It's clean, it's perfectly maintained, and the staff are well-trained professionals. We stayed in the Garden Spa room, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. I've been in the hotel business myself for almost a decade, with over half of that as a department head at...

Centrally and comfortable located. Good facilities. I arrived very late and there was a slight problem with the computer however the guy at reception was very attentive and also gave me free parking service because I had to wait a while for check in. All in all good experience!

This hotel in the heart of downtown Portland is 'vintage' only in the fact that it is an older building. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. We stayed for a Valentine date and found the location convenient to where we planned on dinner; even though this is a restaurant adjacent to this hotel, we ate elsewhere. Our room was...

Thanks suzanne0109! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Couldn't agree with you more regarding Antwain! The entire valet team is quite spectacular in fact. Thanks for the notes on the front desk. We will remind them of the important but I was glad to see you made it to social hour none the less. Come back and see...

A one night stay turned into two during a major snow storm. The hotel staff helped me make the best of it. Their restaurant was understaffed but open, unlike most others in the downtown area, and food was good. The room had all the necessities and staff kindly enabled me to stay in same room for the 2nd night. Kimpton...

Kimpton becoming your favorite brand is music to our ears Reesie42! That snow storm was one for the records books as it was the largest in 20 years to hit Portland. We are very lucky to have an amazing team who shows up rain or snowstorm in this case. Nobody likes to be stuck, but we are glad you were...

The Vintage does not mean old. This is a very very nice hotel. The vintage is a cozy upscale hotel with fantastic service. The Vintage is close to the convention center and other attractions and restaurants. They have earned my repeat business. Jim

Thanks Jim! Yes indeed! Vintage does not mean old - it references the prevalent wine theme touted throughout the hotel! We greatly appreciate your business and cannot wait to welcome you back soon! Take care, Noni

The hotel name Vintage is a bit misleading. It has a wonderful fun modern decor and feel. The lobby and bar are comfortable and inviting although I didn't stay long because the crowd was younger than me. The room is comfortable and thank goodness quiet. The hotel is downtown with fine shopping and dining within walking distance. The only things...

Thanks for the review Thorspecken! For clarity, Vintage relates to the fact that the hotel is wine themed, not antique, which we are quite proud of and tout loudly both online and on property. We do appreciate the nice review and feedback. Not sure what happened regarding luggage assistance as it is our standard to ask both at the door...

I had to travel to Portland for a business meeting in early January. The service and staff were impecable. Very comfortable rooms (even got upgraded, which was a pleasant surprise), and the staff could not do more to help - the bar area is very stylish, and the bar staff knew there stuff when it came to cocktaiils (old fashioneds,...

We were treating wonderfully by all the staff, and were even given a card and bottle of wine and truffles to celebrate our anniversary! Very Portland themed, which we loved. Cozy and clean room. We ordered room service and it was delicious. We had a great view of Portland (and the protestors, as we choice the wrong day to have...

Thanks for the great review Deenah S! And Happy Anniversary! Sounds like this year might be one for the record books with the protesters and tear gas though. Sorry that happened! But we are so glad you enjoyed the hotel and staff. We have an amazing team! Come back and see us again soon. Noni

Our first visit to Portland included this hotel in 1993. We have stayed there several times since then. This time it was completely renovated. Room 1014 was really neat.Very friendly staff. The wine hour had a local vinters giving tastings on the hotel offered only rose which was not like the regular white/red selection (hint). Otherwise everything was really good.

Thanks so much thomas|S7009WS! Hotel Vintage definitely doesn't look the same as it did in 1993. We like to refer to ourselves as the Urban Outpost. Come to us for good wine, great company, and a cool Portland art meets industry vibe! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your room. Come back and see us again soon! Noni

We stayed here in early December. We were drawn in by the interior design -- the lobby is quite beautiful and comfortable. It also really reflects Portland, so you get a nice dose of the city's culture right off the bat. At check in, we were informed about the property's nightly wine tasting. We didn't expect much and didn't plan...

Hey Kelli R! Thanks for the review and I'm glad you ended up participating in social hour! You reviewed it perfectly.
