As the title says, this hotel is different from everything I've been. The staff is always very nice and helpfull. The room is confortable and clean. Be careful, there are some rooms with shared bath, what scared me a bit at first but it was a nice experience after all. I expected more about the bar upstairs, kind of empty...

Great hotel across the street from the crystal ballroom. The pool is open till 1am on the weekend. The staff were helpful and called us about shoes we unknowingly left in the room. The room was quiet even in downtown. We are looking forward to staying again. Make sure to go downstairs to the Zeus cafe and have a Bloody...

This was our first time staying at a hotel that had common bathrooms. Although I didn't mind the idea, my husband was not a fan. The decor is fun and the staff were nice. I rated it a three because our bed was awful and the walls were thin! I could hear our neighbor snoring very clearly through the walls....

We booked this hotel only moments before turning up. Upon arrival, we were very impressed with what we discovered. This place was clean, central and great value. We loved the pool downstairs, especially as it was the middle of winter! If we were ever to visit portland again this place would be our hotel of choice. Well done team!

One of our favorite McMenamins hotels, the Crystal Hotel has their heated pool inside, which is a definite bonus. The location is great, however our last visit had us skating on the icy streets. No matter, the drop-off area for our luggage and checking in was cleared. We stayed in a suite on the fourth floor, and although I'm not...

The Crystal Hotel is perfectly located in the Pearl District of downtown Portland. It's right across the street from Jake's Famous Crawfish which is across from Ruby Jewel ice cream and so many more places to eat drink and shop. Love the whole place.

Great location. The hotel is cozy and the staff are polite and friendly. The hotel theme is song lyrics so each floor and room is decorated in decor of a song. Live music downstairs in the pub. Walking distance to the Crystal Ball room. The best is the soaking tub! Parking is available on the street or there is a...

Had a generally great 6 nights @ the Crystal in October. The location on the edge of the Pearl district is within an easy walk of the breweries, restaurants & clubs in that area and northwest Portland & downtown are also both right around the corner. Whole Foods across the street is useful for grabbing quick stuff and the streetcar...

Hello Mike W., Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback of our property. Since your stay, we've learned that the rooms in the back halls are protected by a fire wall, and we'd been unable to get wireless access into that area, but that has been corrected. We now have wifi access in that area. Nonetheless,...

We spent a terrific evening at the Zeus Cafe in the hotel, enjoyed a very interesting room, and brunch before shopping in the Pearl. This is an interesting older hotel that has been brought up to date in a very creative way. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Crystal Hotel.

This hotel is awesome. It has tons of character. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Sure, most of the rooms share bathrooms, but it wasn't even an inconvenience with so many on each floor and always immaculately clean. Each hotel room is unique, as is the whole place, really. It's in the middle of downtown and so within...
