We really wanted to not stay in a chain hotel for our trip to PDX and the Inn at Northrup Station fit our plans very well. Free parking. Fun and colorful decor. Good attention to detail. Generous size suite; clean and in good condition. Right on bus line, which made getting around very simple. Near restaurants, shopping, and sites; but...

Bright Tulip Colors, Art and Cutsy Stuff is all around. Friendly staff are in nice normal clothing. This is not a corporate hotel. This has long colorful halls and adequate parking. Acceptable breakfast with fresh brewed coffee. The beds were comfortable. The rooms larger than most places. The kitchen has refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, no range. Quality tea and Keurig...

I seriously wish I could live in this hotel. Our room had one bed, a pull-out couch, a dope swivel chair, a television, and a cute, little kitchenette area. The lobby and rooms are so colorful and happy. Don't forget about the saltwater taffy jars!
