Our room was spotless and was much better than we expected. We stayed in a room with a king bed and a nice streetview below. There was a microwave, coffeemaker, large flatscreen TV, refrigerator, and very nice people who run the place. Their continental breakfast was small. The location was very convenient for us, as it was only 3 short...

Good location on the edge of Downtown. We felt quite safe walking to and from the hotel, even at night. Good access to public transport if you're not keen on walking, streetcar stops close to hotel, and only a 5 minute walk to the light rail. Parking at the hotel was an extra $10 a night, but easy and convenient....

If you believe that you're getting a fair deal, think again if my experience is any indication. I don't typically post negative comments on establishments I visit as every person may have their own objective reasons. In this case I believe that I need to WARN others that you may not be getting what you believe you paid for. In...

When booking your reservation through a third party and not directly with the Property or Choice Hotels.com we are sent your reservation info. through our PMS. The reservation that was sent to us showed you booked a room with one Queen size bed. Often when booking through hotwire or Priceline, you are not allowed a choice. There is an additional...

Great little budget hotel with clean lines - no issues parking and located well - outdoor farmers market is only 5 min walk - Saturday market under the bridge is about a 15 min walk - easy to find and we'll run 😊

This is such a find and an amazing bargain in downtown portland! The room is big and clean, the bed itself was comfortable. It's quite basic but all you need for a visit! It's centrally located so walking to pioneer square or pearl district is 20-30minutes away. There is lots of public transport that can take you everywhere a bit...

This place was right next to a food truck pod which was really great. The location was good, close to the river, public transportation, and the park blocks. The room I stayed in was kind of worn and it seemed pricey for the ambiance. The price you're paying is more for the location, so if you're going to be out...

My son and I were in Portland and wanted to save money on lodging, but at the same time stay close to downtown. The downtown Econolodge was a great choice! The manager, Rita, was extremely friendly and welcoming, giving us good suggestions on places nearby to eat and where to catch the public transit. It is so nice to see...

Look, it's an Econolodge! The rooms were spacious, the bathroom and shower decent size. The king bed was comfortable along with the pillows. The hotel is a bit dated but it's clean with your expected amenities. The carpet in our room definitely is aged but the room was without any offending odors. The plus for this hotel is it's location...

We were looking for an affordable hotel that was close to the river, close to public transit, and close to Portland's interesting neighborhoods. Location-wise, this hotel was excellent. It was also a great place to stay in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
