Completely perfect location for walking to the beach and there is a great burger place bar and breakfast place right there. The rooms are decent. Staff nice. As it is an old motel, the noise carries. People walking to their rooms and nearby rooms. We...More
I was initially impressed when we checked in! The guy was very nice and personable, recommended restaurants, things to do, was listening to my kind of music (rock 'n' roll)! The room was fine----no problem there... The book in the room said if you want...More
We brought our dogs for a short beach getaway, finding Sandy Cove for a last minute reservation. The owner was super welcoming, even letting us choose between the 2 remaining dog friendly rooms, since one was slightly bigger. We opted for the sailing themed room...More

The Sandy Cove Inn is a quick walk away from the beach, about 3 minutes walking. And yes there are two access points where Avenue U intersects with the beach area. The Oregon coast is a simple walk to the west but there is also a stairway ( 2 stairs) to the historic Seaside promenade walk. This route takes you to the downtown area of Seaside, about a ten minute walk. Our guest rooms do not have an ocean view save one, the Jacuzzi suite has a bistro balcony and you can see the beach from there.

Hi! We don't serve food here at the Sandy Cove Inn but we do have a great list of restaurant recommendations available at the front desk. And I know that several of our top picks have gluten free options.
