We traveled to Shady Cove to get a feel for the area. We are hoping to eventually relocate to Oregon. Edgewater Inn was the perfect home base for us. We requested a pet friendly room with a river view...it had a nice patio,a great place to walk our puppy. Sandie runs an extremely efficient and friendly office. ..she is a... More

While on our way to Crater Lake, Oregon, coming from Crescent City in Northern California, we were desperately looking for a place to stay as we were running late. We had not planned on stopping for the night, but I am so glad we did! This Inn is more of a hunter's and fisherman's lodge. We sat on the bank... More

We stayed a couple nights here. The front desk folks were nice & the rooms were clean. The first night we stayed upstairs & it was your basic hotel room with a king bed. The bed was nice & comfy. Not much to see on the non river side. We went up to Union for a night, we made a... More

Stayed here two nights while visiting Crater Lake. Had a room facing the river. Nice view, clean & comfortable room. Enjoyed evenings sitting on the patio & watching the river flow by. Breakfast was good. Typical motels fare. Very quiet small town area. Not much going on in the immediate area, but a good choice for visiting the lake. Not... More

This motel gave us 2 nights stay. The booking got slightly confused so we were upgraded for 1 of 2 rooms, a kitchenette added to a King Bed with river view. Sadly the kitchenette was hardly equipped to use, the evening we dined in. The other room, a double with river view was a good size and comfortable, but despite... More

We reserved a discounted room online; when we arrived I asked if we could be on the river side. The friendly gentleman said we were on the "park" side but he'd check availability on the river side. We were in luck, there was a room available. We could "upgrade" to a riverside room for $30, so we did. As it... More

I found the Edgewater in to be a great value. The moment I enter to check in, I was greeted by someone at the desk that seemed to really love her job. That first positive encounter was just the beginning. The room was as advertised, and well kept. The Inn sits on the Rogue River. There are several restaurants with... More

Very polite and friendly front desk service, impeccable clean bed and bathroom. The breakfast was better than a lot of big chain hotels, they offered fresh fruits, Tilamook yogurt, bread, bagels, jam, cream cheese. The coffee itself was strong, very fresh and delicious. Very well kept grounds.

My husband and I traveled two weeks in Oregon . This was my favorite hotel. Super clean spacious rooms. Great view! Comfy bed! There is a really nice walk behind the hotel along the river . Watch the river rafters float by.:-) Also, walk down to the park for some pleasant exercise.

We slept one night at The Edgewater. Very, very clean motel. Friendly staff. We had a room with a river view....excellent view! The only reason we didn't give a five is because our backs were a little sore in the morning from the bed. The bed was not horrible just not the best. Also, would have loved an extra pillow... More
