Fantastic little rustic gem and it 's right on the river. Wow did we get lucky with this place. We need a room for the night and had no reservation they only had one two bedroom suite with a kitchenette available. We got lucky with the John Wayne room. So adorable. Super friendly service and the room was just right....

Wonderful older motor court with cabins. Highly recommend staying in one of the river view cabins with a deck and kitchenette. We took a short walk down the steps to the river and did a little fishing too. Nice lawn and garden area with outdoor furniture. The cabin was a bit rustic, super comfy bed, and had everything you need....

It was getting late in the day when we decided to stop where our daughter said one could get a good milkshake - and it was a good one at Phil's Frosty in Shady Cove. We asked the young lady at the eatery where a good place to stay was. Without hesitation she told us the Royal Coachman. Having read...

We were lucky to find this motel on our way to Highway 5. We love these independent motels. This one was above average. Lovely peaceful setting with outdoor seating area and decking with chairs in the river. Would have loved to stay longer but we are on a tight schedule. I think the last 2 reviews must have stayed elsewhere....

Enjoyed staying 1 night here and wish i could have stayed longer. Take your time in the morning and walk to patio over river and enjoy your coffee. Rustic wood on walls sets the tone for enjoyable visit. Staff friendly.

Got in late Friday night around 7 was informed that the room that we had reserved had some maintenance issues so they were upgrading us to a river front room for no extra charge.the hotel has been there for a long time so it's a little rough around the edges but the rooms are neat and clean and not your...

I stayed in this Motel during a trip to Crater Lake. The stay itself was perfect. Nice clean rooms, good airconditioning, perfect bed. Super amazing terrace on the Rogue River. Nice restaurant next door. Best part was afterwards, I forgot some clothes and found out 2 days later. I called them and at NO extra costs they send it by...

I couldn't be more impressed, this place is absolutely amazing.. To listen to the river at night was beyond words.. Stayed here to be some what close to Crater Lake and we didn't want to leave the room.
