Wonderful egg and pancake breakfast that kept us full. Great view of the lake with binoculars for bird watching at each table. We had plans to tour the ODFW wildlife area across the highway from the lodge after breakfast. It is easy to spend hours photographing and observing so many different birds in an area with easy access.

We stayed in a small, single room, detached cabin ("Sage") with our dog. If you are looking for high-speed wifi, many tv channels, and luxury toiletries, this is not your place. The sunset and sunrise were spectacular! We stayed in one of the lodge rooms, which was all they had available. Next time we will plan farther in advance and get...

We recently stayed a couple of nights in the Ponderosa Cabin and other than a few hiccups that the owners addressed, we had a nice visit. The flies were particularly bad and since there is no screen door, we had to keep the cabin door closed and couldn't enjoy the lovely Fall weather. Cell reception depends on which carrier you...

Small cabins on summer lake. So serene and peaceful. Watch the fish jump, the herons fish, and the horses next door. Across from wildlife viewing area, five miles from petroglyphs, beautiful country, close to hot springs. Good restaurant on site, friendly hosts. We plan to return at every opportunity.
