Excellent resort, very nice staff and great spa experience. Their dinner service can improve, I ordered a medium rare steak and received a well done tough as nails brick instead. Rooms were very clean and spacious. We were next to the jacuzzi and unfortunately there...More

Visited for a conference hosted at the property in April 2018 and stayed two nights. The room rate was so reasonable that I wasn't sure what to expect (April is definitely the off season here). But my room was really a suite, quite large, comfortable...More

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and very helpful, The location of the hotel was very close to activities. and restaurants were also very close by. I would highly recommend this hotel for the weekend or the full week.

We needed to book a place that was kid friendly, But nice enough to accommodate our adult friends And close enough to Mount Hood meadows. This place was perfect and we will be back this Spring for another trip but we'll be golfing.

It takes a while and it helps to know the local transit system. You can take the MAX out to the Gresham transit center. (From PDX use the RED line to Gateway, then get on the BLUE line to Gresham). Then you can get a bus from Gresham transit to Sandy. Once at the Sandy transit center you can get another bus (Mt. Hood Express) towards Govt. Camp/Timberline and am pretty sure that there is a stop at Welches. From the bus stop its a really short walk to the Resort at the Mountain. If you time it right it could take between two and three hours, but not sure how much. $2.50 for the MAX, not sure how much from Gresham to Sandy probably another five bucks? Then another few bucks from Sandy to Welches... Might want to call the BW Resort at the Mountain and they can give you times.
Hope that helps and good luck!
