We were delighted to be guests at the Golden Eagle Inn during the beautiful Fall season in Bedford. The Inn is a historic building with a two room restaurant, a pub below, and guest rooms on multiple levels. Our room, the Juniata Room, was on the top level at the back, and accessible to a quiet, comfy sun porch where...

I was completely impressed with this little Inn. The Inn is family owned and run which brings it's own charm. The rooms were full of antique furniture, high ceilings and impeccably clean. I would highly recommend a room with a fireplace! The bed was truly comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! There is also a fun pub/bar in the basement...

A charming historic establishment run by a charming young couple. Period antique furnishings and beautiful decor fill guest rooms, dining room, porches, entry and hallways. And our gourmet breakfast was 5 star for sure.

I can not say enough good things about the Golden Eagle Inn. The Inn keepers were exceptionally accommodating. The dining room is beautiful and the food was excellent. I am already making plans to go back. They have a quaint Pub below the B&B that is also very quaint.

As visitors to the area, we booked the Golden Eagle Inn. The rates were reasonable, staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was wonderful. There was also a pub located below the street level that was very cozy and popular. Our room was clean and everything worked. Wished that I could open the windows to cool off the room,...

I'm a repeat visitor to the Golden Eagle and very much enjoy the comfort, cleanliness, and warm welcome. The breakfasts are excellent, including juice, eggs, toast or pancakes, bacon and/or sausage. The enclosed porch is a real bonus for sitting outside and meeting up with others. This is an old hotel with lots of charm. If you need an upscale,...

I really wanted to love this place because the innkeepers are clearly working very hard, but too many details were just a little off. Much of this is probably because of the property's age: a 200-year-old building needs constant expert maintenance. Still, when one kind of accommodation is listed on the website and another in the flesh, that's a problem....

If you are going to Bedford for fall foliage, this is a must stay. The rooms are comfortable and affordable and a gourmet breakfast in the morning. There is fine dinning restaurant on the main floor. If you rather have beer and a burger or wings; there is a pub in the basement. It is walking distance to Bedford Fall...

After driving 8 hours on our way home, we decided to take a chance in Bedford and were pretty much willing to stay anywhere. How lucky we happened upon the Golden Eagle Inn! The basement houses a tavern, the first floor is the dining room and the rooms are above that. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating, and dinner...

On spur of moment booked a room for one night on a Fall Foliage Festival weekend. One room left, and I believe it was the smallest on the third floor with a queen bed and shower. Very comfortable bed and charming antiques and fresh flowers. We were happy to get the room. Lovey welcome package given to guests too. Great...
