Traveled to Benezette Pa to view the Elk herd during the fall rut with 3 other adults. We rented the Manor House listed as a 3 BR 2 Bath cabin. It was perfect for us and had everything we needed including porches and a fire pit with wood. For the 3rd week in October we had a nice 3 days...

Winslow Hill has a nice viewing area for the elk. Although we did not see any elk because of the elk hunting season, the area is nice to visit and look out over the hills. Remember the binoculars. Walking paths for the adventurous person.

Winslow Hill has a nice loop, starting on 555 in Benezette ad looping to 555 in Grant. It allows you to cover more area, giving you more opportunity to see Elk and other wildlife. The lookouts are beautiful, but the Elk are often far away. Be sure to check all the woods and area in between, to have a chance...

Had a 2 night get away to relax and take in a part of the state we hadn't been to before. Betty the owner is so friendly and full of knowledge about the surrounding area and the wider region. You can literally walk the 50 yards to the viewing area, but just sitting on the front porch or the back...

Charming room, welcoming host, delicious breakfast, great location. We stay in B&B's to get away from run of the mill hotels, and Betty's exceeded our expectations in every way. From the handsome rustic furniture crafted by her son, to a friendly chat on the porch, we were delighted at every turn. This was our first visit to the Pennsylvania Wilds...

We just returned home from our trip in Pennsylvania elk country & wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at this b&b. Betty is a gracious host & a wonderful cook. Her establishment was clean & our bedroom was wonderful with a great bed. For the price this beats most motels.

We wanted to see the elk in the evening and the morning and we have a camp about an hour away. Normally we would drive back and forth, but I decided to surprise my husband by booking this B&B. Booked the "Woodland" room. Very nice clean & homey accommodations with a private entrance, deck & swing. In the morning a...

My husband and I stayed at Winslow Hill two nights this past weekend. My Father was kind enough to get us a gift certificate. Betty is a one woman superpower. She is a kind and gracious host. And boy, can she cook! We were so spoiled. Betty loves her piece of paradise and it shows. She was so knowledgeable about...

We stayed at this delightful B&B for one night during the middle of October and had a wonderful time. The B&B is situated right in the middle of elk herd territory and on the same road as the Elk Country Visitor Center. The owner, Betty, was very welcoming and made a scrumptious breakfast of fresh fruit, mini-muffins, eggs, bacon, and...
