The room was very nice. The furniture was a bit on the worn side, but the bed and layout of the room was comfortable. We had a Jacuzzi Fireside Suite. The breakfast was not up to par. There was a poor selection of cereal, which is what we most rely on for breakfast. The fresh fruit were apples and oranges....

Not a glitzy hotel, but clean, well run, and an excellent buy. The included continental breakfast, afternoon tea, and speedy wifi are nice amenities that aren't often included in this price bracket. The building is set well back from the road, so noise is rarely a problem. (The road itself -- US 1 -- is a speedway, but that's another...

Quiet, clean, close to museums and historical parks. They offer a nice breakfast spread and "tea and cookies" every afternoon. A bonus for us...our dog was welcome and there were nice areas on the property to walk and play with her. We found a nice town park, Pennsbury Township Park, close by that had a small fenced dog park ("Bark...

We stayed at the Brandywine River Hotel for one weeknight - a brief romantic getaway, during the first week of August. Check-in was a breeze. Our room was perfect; we had booked a suite with a large jacuzzi in the bathroom (King Fireside Jacuzzi Suite). The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. There were a couple of small candles in...

The hotel is attractive, very clean and well designed, and we felt save from any kind of crime which is not always the case. The brochure is a bit overstated. The room was very good. The only thing that we were unhappy with was the bed. It was difficult to find a comfortable place to lie. I am of average...

So good to not stay in a sterile chain motel, this is a really nice place. Right on the roadway (rt.1) it is set back far enough that noise was no problem. Staff was friendly and efficient, complimentary breakfast was great - fresh waffles! Rooms are large, immaculately clean with quality linens and accessories, but just a bit date looking....

Very lovely and quiet. Not a thing wrong with it, except the tricky turn getting into the property. For future visitors, it is at the rear of another business. VERY convenient to all area attractions. VERY nice staff, clean.

This was a quick sleep over. It has a Jacuzzi and fireplace!!! A/C didn't really feel like it was working at all so I was pretty hot most of the night. Everything looked clean. The staff is nice. European style decor lobby. They had continental breakfast.

Very nice place to stay for areasonable price, it is almost across the street from the Brandywine River Museum, and convenient to Dupont properties includng Longwood and Winterthur. Two of the very best restaurants around are at the boot of the driveway, so once you are back after a day of touring, park the car and walk.

Stayed here the night after my wedding. Very friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast and very nice location. I would recommend it to anyone visiting this area. More expensive then my average hotel room choice (but it was a special occasion) and it was certainly worth it.

Thank E K
